Review of Godaddy Website Builder
Are you looking for a reliable website builder? It is rough, especially if you're starting from ground 0. In this review of Godaddy website builder, we will discuss the Pros and Cons.
Godaddy Website Builder is packed with features, making creating a website easy and fun. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced web designer, Godaddy Website Builder has something for you. Plus, the free trial makes it easy to test the platform before making a purchase.
A review of the features offered by Godaddy's Website Builder. If you're looking for a website builder that is both user-friendly and affordable, then look no further than Godaddy. This platform offers users a wide range of features and tools to help them create an online presence, from creating a custom domain to setting up a blog or even launching an eCommerce store. You can quickly build a website using Godaddy's website builder.
Now to a beginner, it looks great. Easy to set up, and the Godaddy website builder puts in pictures based on the niche you are targeting.
The basic plan (currently $11.99 07/29/2022) comes with many features like:
*Secure website (SSL) Pretty much a standard in the industry in 2022
*Connect custom domain - Again, all website builders offer this nowadays
*Mobile-friendly site - I don't know of any website builder not offering this
Plans go up to $27.99 a month, which includes email. FYI they add Fees upon checkout. I have not purchased a plan with Goddady due to my experience a few years back. You get started with them, and then they had upsell after upsell. This hopefully doesn't happen anymore.
One big negative on building a website using Godaddy's website builder is once you use their platform, you are stuck using it. If they raise fees, you can't move hosting providers like you can with a Wealthy Affiliate website.
Another big negative is flexibility. WordPress offers so much flexibility when compared to other website builders. WordPress will always be at the forefront of web development, where it might take years for Godaddy to issue a change.
If looking for a free website builder to try out, Wealthy Affiliate wins hands down. They offer so much more in education and a step-by-step plan for developing your site.
A big win for Wealthy Affiliate is the speed of the servers. Did you know they use Amazon Servers? Take a look at Ignited Biz. This site is built using the Wealthy Affiliate platform. Run a page speed insights test using Google. Then run any website built on the Godaddy platform, and I think you will see why I choose Wealthy Affiliate for my hosting solution.
The Community is another excellent reason to choose WA. With the site comments and site feedback, I haven't found any other website builder that matches this. Wealthy Affiliate is a great tool not just for affiliate marketers but also for local small business owners.
In conclusion, using Godaddy's Website Builder has both pros and cons. As a result, it is essential to weigh the pros and cons of using a website builder tool before you dedicate to much time to building a site. That is one big mistake I made early on in building websites. I have used HTML, WordPress, Wix, and Godaddy in the past. I wasted countless hours and then ended back with WordPress.
Have you ever thought another website builder would work only to return to WordPress?

My first and only other experience was with Square Space, Mike! I was not impressed, and then stumbled onto Wealthy Affiliate!
Jeff
I have never tried square Space. I tried Godaddy, Builderall, and Wix. All had horrible stats for loading speed. I did like the simplicity of designing the website, but now that WordPress has blocks, I have had pretty good luck with designing now.
I used Elementor to help build the sites and even had their premium version, but I noticed it was degrading the website's speed. Now I am just using Generate Press - I would like to use elementor for creating great designs, but for local businesses, I think speed is more important when someone is looking for a phone number to call, a plumber.
I can certainly understand that, Chris! I've never used a Site builder or anything like that yet, and I might not.
Jeff
I don't really use, Jaxxy either, Chris! I follow some of Partha's methods for lookinf at "People also ask" and studying what is number one on Google and then look for what is available beyond the authority sites that are not being addressed!
Jeff
Jeff that is a great way to find keywords, and I use that. I also check those with Jaxxy's keyword tool to see if there is not some other combination I am not missing. I don't want to spend too much time building my website only to use a keyword with 500 searches compared to one with 10,000. I have come to realize I don't think like everyone :-)
