Dating back to the 1980s when Ronald Reagan was in Office, the economic policy for a trickle-down economy (coined "Reaganomics" for President Reagan's influence) flourished for several years. With the election of President Jimmy Carter, the movement gradually shifted from a trickle-down economy in which the rich reinvest, it turned into a free market with very little government influence.

1. Choosing the Proper Affiliate
-For the longest time, I thought the best step to proper affiliation, was to make sure that I had at least SOME sort of ability for others to earn me commissions. However, with leading competitors, the ability to associate your affiliation with your keywords is a necessity.

As simple as using Google:

Search for a keyword related to your niche, for example, my niche is Video Games and Music. As Simple as typing Video Game Affiliates as a search, you'll be sure to find several sites related to your niche/keywords.

Some examples of great affiliate websites include, but are not limited to:

  • BlueSnap
  • Clickbank
  • Commission Junction
  • Jaaxy
  • MarketHealth
  • ShareaSale

2. Going from Slave to Pharaoh
-You have to take into consideration that not all affiliate websites are good for your website, some of which might not even be good for your wallet.

I'm sure by now we've all had our share of "Pyramid Schemes" as if they'd been dreamt up by Charles Ponzi himself.

These Ponzi Schemes (also known as "Multi-Level Marketing Schemes, or MLM for short) offer the promise of high returns for successful investors in very little time. However, Ponzi Schemes by definition are fraudulent, so from now on I'll be referring to these Corporations as Multi-Level Marketers, when they are, in fact, legitimate.

I'm sure you're all familiar with the most popular MLMs which include, but are also not limited to:

  • Ambit Energy
  • Beachbody
  • Mary Kay
  • Success University

The general business model for MLMs in these cases involves the purchase of a product, for instance, Mary Kay offers make-up, which you in turn are supposed to resell to your consumers.

3. Adsense and Affiliation

Adsense ads are just one of the many other ways to make money online. You may sign up an account with Google Adsense, and upon completion of an account and approval you will be able to sign in and get an ad code to add to your own site. These ad codes will show up in your post, your page, or your sidebar.

Google pays you for traffic on the ads themselves, with pricing per click ranging anywhere from cents to dollars.

However, Adsense accounts need your own domain in order to generate revenue, subdomain's such as siterubix are non-applicable.

Other Affiliate programs include, but are not limited to:

  • Chitika.com
  • Infolinks.com
  • Kontera.com
  • Media.net

4. Advertising and Pertinence
-One of the best ways to generate revenue with your site is by contacting better known companies and asking if they would consider or even like to advertise on your site. If this is the direction you want to take I would recommend you have some traffic and stats to show your potential advertisers when you contact them. In Affiliate Marketing, everyone judge's the book by its cover, so you're going to need to show at least a proper site outline and at least some occurrence of site traffic within the past eon.

One of the helpful plugins for advertising on your website is OIO publisher, with its leading ability to automate near the whole process. You move the ad blocks where you want them, the advertiser/consumer clicks on them and can register right then and there, payments can be done through Paypal for simpler monetary exchanges.

Companies like "buysellads.com" are worth it in the long-run for their sense of ease in connecting website owner and website advertiser.

5. Product Creation and Sale
-As a greenhorn to internet marketing I would suggest that you start out with affiliate marketing, once you've learned the proper way to obtain traffic, you'll also move on to learn how to turn that traffic into potential product investors. With these potential investors visiting your site fairly regularly, you'll want to make sure to create some sort of premium content to sell.

Now, while true, creating your own product is a very powerful way to earn revenue on your site, it should be a long term goal, as it won't initially start benefiting you, however obtaining the first hand experience is sure to pave your way for corporate freedom to follow.

I have yet to update the 5 points. I'll add them soon. They're mostly affiliate websites such as amazon and jaavy.

Oh well,that,s completely different.
