Tips And Tricks For Consistently Writing Blog Posts?

Hi all! I wanted to what I am currently doing to try to stay on top of writing articles/posts for my blog. I am really hoping to get some community engagement and some advice on what works for you guys and girls. I'm open to suggestions and would appreciate any help.

Planning Out My Post

My system as of right now is to get a pen and a piece of paper (as I prefer the "old school" feel) and jot down the basic outline of my post. This usually consists of some heading ideas and scribbled notes about what to talk about under each one. I don't focus too much on getting everything that I want to include in my post down on the paper all at once. I tend to have a bunch of "main points" and then kind of riff off of those when I'm in SiteContent actually creating the post.

Should I be using a more strict system?

Ideas For My Content

Since I am so very passionate about my chosen niche I don't really seem to have any issues coming up with content. I'd honestly say that the bigger problem is trying to decide which topic to write about at that time. I have so many ideas swirling around in my head that sometimes it can be difficult to sit down with just one and form it into an actual post.

Does anyone have suggestions about how I could start to tighten up this process?

There Has To Be Something I'm Not Thinking Of

I feel like this is more of a Black Swan situation for me as opposed to a Grey Swan. I don't know what I don't know...you know? :)

I'm so new to blogging that I'm sure there's some process or trick that I don't even know to ask about. That's exactly why I turned to my all time favorite community of entrepreneurs. You folks!

I've already received SO MUCH value here at Wealthy Affiliate and I try to provide value back to the community as well. If any of you have ideas about how I could better serve WA I would love to hear them.

Thanks in advance for any comments or questions. I sincerely appreciate you all.

Cheers!

Christopher

You will be able to give more back in terms of showing people what you know, once you gain more experience.
As a beginner I think it’s best to find others that are at a similar level and engage and encourage each other as much as possible.
Sharing posts like this is also a great idea because it shows others what you may be struggling with. It also makes other beginners realise they are not on their own. Great post.

Hi Chris. You need to decide which niche you want to write about. Search in google the niche you wanted to write about and read and choose similar ideas from what you have decided.

Hi, Chris. Usually I get the ideas from my own problems. I search how to solve the problems then I compile the results from various sources, verify the facts based on trusted sources, compose my posts, publish, ask for comments using SiteComment platform, then share the posts on social media.

Hi Christ,
I suggest you take advantage of the Jaaxy keyword research to choose your topics

Mine is similar to your approach, search for keywords first and jot down some points for each paragraph. That helps to organize my ideas.

My niche is quite board and there're a lot I can write. It's a challenge to focus on key topics. I will try to determine several main pages (topics) and plan the posts I can write on particular topics.... Planning and organizing are important to help me keep track on what to write, and definitely worth the time.

Just for sharing, wish you all the best!

Thanks Sylvia.

Since I'm so new to this it's nice to know that I'm not alone in my methods. It makes me feel like I'm on the right track.
