Hi there. I was on WA a few years ago and never really did much with it. I had something worse than Shiny Object syndrome:

Maybe for beginners it would be good to create an overview of the difference and note that there are several different writing tasks that are essential to online marketing. Artic

I agree with you Kyle -- in fact after I wrote this comment I thought what I should really do is *write* what I am talking about! But I was at work and could not get back to it.

For the literally millions of times I've seen the words "make money online" I can probably think of one instance that I got any kind of answer as to how it was being done-- *by anyone* -- and that was here.

So -- if I were a person who was completely new to this again -- I would want to hear that yes, there are different skillsets involved and different formats this is all going to configure itself into -- especially when it comes to writing. Writing an article is different than writing a Squidoo module' for example -- and writing an article is different than writing a blog post.

But see I'm talking about a *really* basic level of information -- the big picture; the overview. If you have a big picture then you can relax and do all the little stuff and be confident you're not wasting your time. So I'm not even talking about *how to* spin an article, I'm more talking about what that is, how it's different, why people do it. If you know that, you can decide for yourself if you want to do it or not.

Yeah, the implementation and the technology is different, how you address your audience should not change though. That is something that will remain static across your niche.

Hey, you forget StreetArticles.com....where is the love?

Although there are many places to write and many different types of pages, there is one thing that should remain a constant across all writing, you write content for your reader.

To this day, I cringe every time I hear the words PLR, spun content, article automator...those that implement strategies that incorporate these things can expect a career online that involves little success and no branding (or credibility) within your niche.
