Blue or Red ?

Hi All, hope everyone is doing well this fine Monday evening!

Two weeks today, I commenced my journey with WA.

I signed up as a starter with literally no knowledge about Affiliate Marketing, aside from what I had been told from a variety of shady 'entrepreneurs' in the weeks preceding my stumbling upon WA.

Website design - although yes, I have some previous knowledge about this, my exposure was limited, 5% if I'm lucky.

Reflection on these past two weeks...

I now ask myself 'would I have taken the Red or the Blue pill if I'd known what I was letting myself in for?' Lol.

Of course the answer is a massive, definitive, resounding - the RED one!!

Not quite the same , but I feel there are some similarities to the movie.

These past two weeks have been an awakening of sorts, breaking free from the chains the system imposes upon us, 'the 9-5 slog vs a life of freedom'.

Building and creating an online business and working toward building a passive income = being free and thus having quality time to enjoy life, rather than the mundane trap that we are directed toward from a young age.

Now to head down that rabbit hole...

I've truly had a couple of incredible weeks. It's been hard work though, 100% a new language to me. I have worked hard and I have pushed myself way beyond my comfort zones (pats on back to me). It's crazy to think what I have learned in these past two weeks.

Firstly, I have a live website! Just going to repeat that - I have a live website! Whoop woo! And it's indexed with Google - I know this is a mere formality, but that's my website and I'm pretty chuffed about that achievement.

I have some content on said website, nowhere near enough, but so far its a solid start. Keyword rich, providing a service with the information I am sharing, playful in parts and I hope those who will eventually come across it will find some engaging content that inspires them in one way or another.

I hope that the content that I've created, with the intent to create so much more will set me in the right direction to build my traffic flow, my online presence and authority.

The posts are eye catching, vibrant and attractive with the images I've added and if anyone had told me this is where I would be two weeks later; dropping in high quality images, optimising my SEO, creating links, moving around my back office with ease as I get better and learn more, I'd probably have said 'yeah what-EV-VA' (said in my very best Sauf East London accent that I can put on).

Something like a phenomenon.

LL Cool J released that tune in 1997, da'am! In this instance that phenomenon is Wealthy Affiliates.

I've been able to achieve the above not just from my hard work, but with help from the incredible community that is WA!!

The training first and foremost is incredible; abundant, clear and concise. Kyle's video's provide step by step instruction at every stage making progress swift and simple.

The interaction and support from the community and 'the big guns', (as I now affectionately like to refer to a select few I have observed and frankly marvel at), is crazy generous.

Generous with information. Generous of their time and knowledge. WA is a such a generous and supportive platform which is encouraged and endorsed from the very top - and it's that support, education and information sharing that has enabled me and no doubt hundred's, thousands of other 'small fry' (another of my affectionate terms for me and other newbies) to stand where I do today. Oh, did I mention I have a live website?

A HUGE big thanks to those who've helped, guided, offered advice and cheered me along when needed.

I hope that I can be in a position to add to this community and pay forward all the help and support I have received thus far.
