Now this is a bad computer mess oh well be positive!
It seems like I am in a tunnel of sorts. Everywhere I look, there is a button for this, a button for that, and do I push the right one? Nope, sometimes I get lucky. But most of the time, I am fixing a mess. Then moving on feeling confident that I got this, and Bam, I messed up again. So here we go. The following ten things I do is a bust. I feel like a boxer in the ring. Every time I get knocked down, I get back up and keep climbing the mountain in front of me!
So as you probably have figured out by now, ChesterB1 is not a techy guy. So I have got to learn when to push the right button. When I get something in my mind, I am on a get-it-done mission. I think I get that from being in construction for the last forty years; hurry up, you're not done yet!
Now that I am writing, I need to slow down instead of driving nails and telling everyone to hurry up. It takes twice as long to fix those bloopers, I call them, and that's the friendly version. Now that I have slowed down a bit, I am starting to see some progress.
Keeping with my niche fishing-for-trout, I am beginning to see a trend in my thinking toward the positive side of things instead of being bogged down with self-inflicting confusion. about not being a writer and thinking like a writer.
But there is this other thing, the computer. I have a long way to go, but I have learned a lot. When my carpenter buddies ask me what I am doing now, and I tell them I am building a website and learning affiliate marketing, they say You're doing what? Of course, I grin right along with them.
When I was a young man, my Dad was a national sales trainer for a big company. He offered me an opportunity to get into sales with him, so he sent me to Dale Carnegie in my training. And there I learned how to stab a potato with a straw sure did! I began to know how far a positive attitude will carry you no matter what you do. It always helped me to be a success at anything I ever tried doing, sticking that straw in that tater!
I will keep chipping away at the mountain in front of me with writing, and maybe the computer skills will follow. I know there's plenty of help here at Wealthy Affiliates. I am pleased with my decision to come here to learn affiliate marketing. What a great community I plan to be more active in the community in the future, and if you want to read a great book, read (The greatest salesman in the world). I wish you all much success and see you at the top!
