You can search via the search bar at the top of Wealthy Affiliate, or you can Google for the answer - you can post questions in the classrooms or in LiveChat - lots of ways to find your answers.
1st question: Fixed layout means that your page will always be rendered the same width no matter what display it's shown on. That's not recommended.
2nd question: https://managewp.com/breadcrumbs-wordpress-seo-by-yoast
Thanks! I tried that but when I click on an answer in the pulldown menu I get a popup window that says "Oops, you do not have access to the Premium Classroom: Everything Wordpress". Getting frustrated! I'm a graphic artist and know a little bit about graphics. I'm only trying to upload a tiny image for my icon. I sized it at 512px as ordered. I tried a .gif (7kb), .jpg (42kb), .tif (21kb) and png (17kb - still getting the http error message.
My suggestions - wired connection rather than over wifi, make sure the name of the file is short and no non-alphanumeric characters. Those are the top three culprits.

That's because you'll need to upgrade to Premium to get that information.
