Life Lessons

At 47, I have learned so many things. I am still learning, which I love. I must say a lot of my issues have been self-inflicted. Not intentionally, but through bad habits,bad choices or just not knowing. However, I always told myself I would share whatever I knew, so no one else would have to endure unnecssarily. So here we go:

1. Watch what you focus on in your mind, because it will grow and get bigger
2. Stop taking things so personally (It's not always about you)
3. Always be humble and grateful
4. Why can't this happen to you? Who are you?
5.Use rejection as a chance to get better (rebuke that spirit of offense)
6. Don't be selfish, you don't live in this world by yourself
7.Honor your agreements in all you do and commit to doing so (you don't want to be known as unreliable)
8. Forgive, don't hold grudges. (You never know when you will need forgiving)
9. Enjoy where you are right now. (If you focus so much on the future you won't smell the roses now)
10. Treat others with kindness and understanding
11. Don't be too hard on yourself. (everyone makes mistakes)
12. Don't give up. (nothing ever is accomplished by giving up)
13. Be honest. (especially with yourself and with others)
14. Get out of your comfort zone (pushing your boundaries is the only way you will grow)
15.Discipline yourself to patience (not everything can be microwaveable)
16. Be yourself (everyone else is taken)
17. Use your time wisely (right now will never come again)
18. Put in the hard work(this is how your dreams come true, no one else will do it for you)
19. Never stop learning
20.Fear. Don't let it affect you (false evidence appearing real)
