It doesn't matter where you are right now, super successful or just starting, listen to my advice. Don't do what I've done, I joined WA 2 years ago and wasn't committed to my blog, I kept making excuses not to write and swayed from one blog/business/make money idea to another.

I now have only a small online income from my eBay business, I haven't failed but I do regret what I've done so far:

Had I just written 2 good blog posts a month and done some social media, instagram, facebook, twitter etc, I'd now be earning much more and probably a sponsored kitesurfer (my passion and goal in life), but instead I'm now just getting back into my path with a small income and set back 2 years.

The Lesson:

Put all your eggs in one basket and stick to it for a long time, no matter how much "easier" it seems to make money somewhere else.

Keeping it short, don't get too sidetracked, keep moving forward... slowly

Not sure I agree with the "all the eggs in one basket" theory. That's dangerous to rely solely on one source alone.

Thanks for the reminder :) I too went off track for 12 months and had little success. However, I'm now more focused and currently on the way to building 2 successful websites this time round :-)

When we learn from our mistakes and put them behind us, it gives us more strength to move forward and become successful the next time.

Yes, the hardest bit is starting again after getting sidetracked, the initial motivation isn't there

Thanks for this. I think in our fast-paced society, it's so easy to get discouraged when we don't see progress or measurable results right away. We assume we've failed and either quit or get lazy or look elsewhere for a better idea. But your post is full of good advice. In my experience, when I've put in the work -- no matter how pointless or difficult it was at the time -- it's paid off in the long run. Wishing you the best!

Persistence!

I agree with you. Persistence is key.

and focus on one goal not 100 ;)

yeah..if you want to get on that kite you got to (;
