Morning walk thoughts.
Most mornings my daughter (my little executive assistant) and I go for a walk. We choose a different direction each morning depending on what we feel like seeing. This morning I cut down through the legoville houses into the large acreages and as I was walking along pushing her in the pram whilst she babbled to herself, I though to myself how wonderful it would be to live in one of those houses, not just their majestic grandeur but the location reminded me of my childhood, where morning walks were met with a crisp calmness about them. I would love to wake up to that vast space, with the parrots playing in the grevilleas and the magpies singing their hearts out for the glorious day ahead...
....one day we'll be there, one day someone will walk past our beautiful home nestled in amongst the grevilleas ang gum trees thinking how wonderful it would be to live there.

That sounds lovely! You are lucky you can walk to it! I grew up in a very different climate but we had so many birds! We lived on a lake with a tall mountain on one side and the lake right on our property on the other. Trumpeter swans nested on our property and we also had hawks, owls, eagles, falcons, swallows, ducks, loons, kingfishers, terns, gulls, warblers, thrushes, jays, sandpipers and even hummingbirds. We have lots of magpies too.
I miss that life! I miss the peace and quite except for the huge river rushing in the distance echoing off the mountains, the breeze and all the birds. We had huge gardens and greenhouses and the air smelled like flowers.
My dream is to be able to afford to live in the bush again. Right now we are tied down to jobs in the city.
I hope our dreams come true!
Jessica
Sounds so lovely. Where i live now is nothing compared to where I grew up, but its still beautiful in its own way.
I can empathise with your need for the bush, I have lived in Sydney and Melbourne so i know how it feels.
