Hi Charles, I think you can build a number of products into your site. First of all you can use the right or left column where you can put a number of banners with links to products and or links to maybe a page you have set up separately with a number of products. In addition you can add links to products or services within your posts when you publish them and these links can be either internal links to other product pages on your site or external links to a product. But when adding a link within your content you should make sure that it is pertinent to the post and works right in with the flow of the content.
You don't want to over do it because you want to make sure that the content is primary for the visitor, not the ads.

I think this is a hard question to answer. I don't have a number. But I think as many as you can. Most probably considering quality of the affiliates. The more content you add the more affiliates you add.

I am now making a habit to review products Of which I have signed as an affiliate and then compare with my main affiliate. so that I will benefit twice on every review I do.

There's no hard and fast rule. However too many can hurt your ranking.If you know some successful sites in your niche, you can use the number of links they have for reference.

Hi Charles. You don't want your website to look like you are selling things as that can put a buyer off if it's over the top. Personally I use between 3 and 4 and they are very subtle. I.e. Using URL linking with text like click here or find out more etc...

There is no limit. But be careful. Don't overuse links per page. That can actually de-rank your site. If you're new, I would stick with just 1 - 2 affiliate links per page or blog post. If you are having difficulty getting traffic, you may want to actually have zero affiliate links per page/post. It's hard to say.

Try deleting one plugin at a time until you find the one that is slowing down your site.

500 error is not your fault. The WA server had a problem and I saw error 500

did you google the error? that usually works for me

The problem doesn't have to be yours and in fact its usually an external server problem.
best to check if its yours or not though.

As I understand it a backlink is a reference from an another website linking to your site. The more links you have from others websites the better. When that happen search engines rank you higher in the search results. And yes you do need them.

guys. do any of you know if there is any way that you could be used as a backlink by someone else without you knowing. if you know what i mean?

Guys be very, very careful with this topic as it's a slippery slope. Backlinks of the wrong kind can destroy your online business.

If you create great content, people will share it with others and that will create the backlink you need.

Kyle doesn't particularly like them and he does not think they are appropriate.

They are links from other sites, whether another of yours or from another owner. They are NOT good if they are from an inferior site and can be OK if from an authority site!

Be careful of them and only use those that help you and do not detract from your efforts, if you use them at all.

Kyle wrote a post and some comments on backlinks and that you do not need them.

25000 is right, but I think this should occur naturally, when the time is right, and a site has gained some authority and trust.

I think if it is forced, it's no longer good in the eyes of Google.

It's a link from another website to your website. Can be from someone sharing your link because they liked your site or from an interesting article you posted on a related site with your website address in it pointing to your site.
