The virtual event thing
Events Management and Covid-19 lessons learned
At the time I started my technological journey, I didn't know that it would be of great help to individuals, groups of people, nations, and the entire world, until I saw it with my own eyes!!!
People stood up and decided to go digital for meetings, funerals, and even church services...I witnessed a full live vibrant concert on YouTube, in an empty hall, I had also followed a live funeral service on YouTube, having the same mourning feelings as those few who were there present.
Conferences and meetings differently
Back in a couple of months ago, so many organizations, companies, and tc. had very good plans for their professional conferences and meetings, social events like weddings, birthdays, and anniversaries celebrations. Yes, when you are planning for a conference or a meeting; you obviously need to plan ahead of time. And among the plans, you had to book for your physical venues earlier. And at the time, the Covid-19 outbreak surprisingly occurred, we all had tensions!!! But the digital world has pretty saved our lives, even if not all. I am very sure, there are plans that survived due to the digital's rescue.
Today, people came to know and are all benefiting from meetings and webinars platforms, like skype for business, Ms Teams, Webex, Zoom, and many more.
Let's keep enjoying the facilities we have currently for your valuable vents, and hoping for good times ahead!!

I have a feeling we'll be doing this for a long time. I must admit, as much as I went kicking and screaming into this, it has been kind of nice. I've been able to attend more events and "see" people more often. Pros and cons to everything I guess.
