Affiliate Marketing in Uncertain Times

Hello everyone!

I live in British Columbia, Canada. This summer has been unusual in many ways; but, the main theme has been extreme heat causing hundreds of sudden deaths on the coast and rampant wildfire in the Interior. Just this past weekend, over 100K people in British Columbia were displaced or put on evacuation alert due to extreme danger caused by heat events. Another heat wave is due at the end of this week which will affect millions of people along the Pacific coast of North America.

This could be the new normal, which leads me to ask: Is there a way to ensure our incomes remain minimally affected by extreme weather events, and more? Can we create a revenue stream (or multiple streams?) that will carry us through financially in case of evacuation or relocation?

I am early in this process, but I believe that affiliate marketing is one way to disaster-proof our incomes in uncertain times. Some of the advantages to affiliate marketing are: portability (grab the laptop and go!), low cost of start-up and maintenance, low risk, flexibility in hours and days worked, and (as long as we put in the work!) high return on investment. With affiliate marketing, we can turn on a dime; meaning, if our niche isn't producing we can quickly change direction to something different. This creates financial resilience.

I have confidence that the courses offered in WA, and the networks formed with other members, will lead us to a path of financial freedom over time. It is my hope for all WA members that we successfully weather the storm together as we approach 2022.
