You certainly can make a post "sticky".
Log in to your website under SiteManager.
click on "All Posts".
Choose the post you want and hover your cursor just under the name of your post. You'll see choices to Edit, Quick Edit, etc.
Choose "Quick Edit".
When that opens, look on the right hand side and you'll see a box to check off called "make this post sticky"
I hope that is clear and works for you, Sierra!

My Wordpress does have a choice for a static page but that is only for pages and a second page is created for other pages.
I was giving you instructions to have a post be displayed first on the home page. is that what you're looking to do?

HI WA family any members in the community that will edit content ?
Just looking for a second pair of eyes after using grammerly.Nothing is like someone else eyes lol maybe I'll blog to see if I can find a proof reader. I could also publish to my website and then ask for opinions. Being a weak writer has stopped me long enogh
Yes, you can have a person read it before you post. After posting you have others read and comment.
Thanks so much for your help. That's what I'm I need of someone to proof read my about me before I publish. Do you know of anyone within the community that can give me a hand
What do you need edited? We have Site Content in the Site Rubix button that has a nice grammar and spell check.

does anyone know how i can make my profile link go to my profile and not the sign up page?
Hi Sierra, just go to your profile page and look in the browser up top and it will have the link to your profile page i.e. https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/cecemorgan
Have a great day. Joe
ok, Joe, i click on your link and I go to my profile.. when I copy the link pull up in a new tab to check it a link to the home sign up page is what I get ... I copied the link in my phone and it's taking me to someone else profile... thanks for you help Joe
Hi Sierra, it sounds like you need to clean out your browser cache since something is stopping you from getting to the link that I gave you which is your profile. Or when you try it again and another page comes up, refresh the page in your browser.
Joe
WA is certainly for any level of expertise lol I figured it out I think I'm gonna go over some more training thanks so much for all your help
Hey Sierra!
You just have to copy your profile url to do that. Also, I would suggest that you do the 'Get Started Here' training because it goes over the link system. If you've done it already just have a quick recap run-through :)
Hope this helps! :)

thanks Marlinda thanks for your help i got the link to my profile but the link goes to the sign up page not my profile
