Oops! I Messed Up My Domain Name - Dangit!

So it appears I did not pick my domain correctly. :-(

I watched the video but for some reason I didn't pick up WHY my domain name should match my website. I was going for generrality when the key is to target my niche market off the bat with my domain name.

It's for consistency and better search engine results - Doh. Now my incorrect domain name did get indexed with Google within a week but it is not representative of my website, my niche, and doesn't tell my potential customers what my site is about.

I'm not to bummed because my domain name to match my page name is available. Hopefully it will still be there on Friday when I am ready to purchase :-)

Moral of the story...

1. Don't sweat the small stuff and it's all small stuff
2. Don't beat yourself up when you make a mistake - unless you make the same mistake twice
3. You can use your mistakes as a learning opportunity and in my case a business expense

So going forward - watch all videos carefully, take good notes, EXECUTE, EVALUATE, REDO, MOVE FORWARD!
