Thanks, Jim, more to do with fun than money! You never know you may get some people to buy the books. I'm about to start a page offering things for writers, courses etc.

I do write just for fun, but to be perfectly honest, I wouldn't balk at an offer to sell my book. I know many people (including Stephen King) say they just write for the fun of it, but that begs the question, "Why does he bother selling his books then?" He could just leave them on the bookshelf in his living room or study like trophies.

People who write want to write to sell their books as well as just do it for fun. J.K. Rowling admits that she was poor as dirt and writing her Harry Potter novels was her last resort to make money

There is absolutely nothing wrong with writing books to make money, and while I am having a ball writing, I do hope to sell my books. :)

You get a thrill when someone says, "I loved your book!"
