How important is quality content you ask. I would answer very, very, very important.
It is so easy to let the mind be filled with making money and not focus on content. Why I know? Because this was me at one time, but not anymore.
1st Testimony: I follow this individual on youtube. Now what attracted me to this person was the valuable, consistent and continual content on their youtube channel, their website and blog. I noticed I started to trust this person, this led to me being a consistent viewer of their material, clicking on their affiliate links, buying their ebooks, etc.

Agree. I started to believe that quality content is the most important.. even more important than the appearance than the web. I am not saying there is no need to focus on the layout, just comparing their importance... the layout is just the first appearance before we hit the content juice. Even if we give bad first appearance, those that give us a chance to know us better.. we still stand a chance of having that loyal friemd or loyal content... a good friend once told me (your site has zero content, adds no value to me) important err, think about it. Absolutely agree with you KLDesigndeco. To be honest, the individual that I follow on Youtube, their content is so rich is actually outshines the appearance.
