I don't have an ipad so I can't check but I researched the problem on the internet. From what I make out on the forum below, it is not as such a Wordpress problem but rather a problem with the image itself. Have a look at the forum below and go to the last post on that forum from Cindy Otty.

Has anyone else here in the WA community a solution for this problem ? It appears to be an extremely common problem for photos not to be shown the right way on an IPAD.
