Hello everyone,
I have noticed in Rank Math that there is something odd about the 404s list.
I cannot show a screenshot as it will not paste into the question box here.

I don't know if this has been resolved, however this resource may help

https://rankmath.com/kb/monitor-404-errors/

Here is the screenshot of the odd 404s. It looks as if a bot is having fun with this. IDK, but this does not look right.

i'd have a look in your analytics and search console - if google is worried about it then it will be reported in there... if not then ignore it....
but with it going from page to page every second then as you say it may be a bot...
google will allow a certain number of 404's so unless it is causing you a problem them keep an eye on it ....

I am not having any issues

-Mike

apparently if you go back and edit your question you can then add an image...
unless you are using rank math then you don't tend to get a 404 list...
and most of us don't use rank math - most are on either all in noe seo or the seo framework...

Is anyone else having a problem with 404s?

I have completed a blog about WA and want to post it on Facebook.

I have never done this before and I wonder if you wonderful people out there can advise me as to how to

What you should do is create a page on your website that contains a text link or Read More button that uses your WA affiliate link. Then in your Facebook post, link to that page's URL.

This is very interesting. Can the affiliate link be hidden inside a sentence, like click here to learn more. I posted on Facebook on a money making group but I got ticked off by a moderator who said I wasn’t allowed to post affiliate links. Although this wasn’t mentioned in the group rules 🤨

You can't create a text link in Facebook except when you tag a Facebook user or Facebook page.

Ah, ok, thanks Eric. So I could add a blog post with my affiliate link in with the text?

As you continue through the training you’ll learn all about using and placing your affiliate links :) keep up the great work and keep learning!

I always include a link to a landing page in my own website in my FB posts and have never had any issues. Mind, I haven't posted recently, so it's possible there's been a rule change.

Hello Phil this sounds like an easier option but I will have to get more info from you at a later date.
Thank you,
Corinne

I don’t know why you’d have any issues with that. Placing links in FB posts is pretty status quo I think right?

Absolutely. I always link to a landing page from a FB article. They may not like direct affiliate links though.

Thanks Eric, I will put my nose back to the grindstone!

Thank you Phil. I will pester you for more information when I move forward.
Corinne

Any time, Corinne.

To share anything to Facebook, just copy and paste the url of the content you're looking to share.

As an example, if you wrote a blog post in your WA blog and you wanted to share it, just copy the url, open a Facebook post, and paste it.

And as a member here at WA, you have your own affiliate link you can share so that anyone joining WA via your content would become your referral and you'd get credit and commissions if they went premium. So when referring people to WA, you use your affiliate link.

That can be found under the $ icon up top, then under Links.

Thank you Eric, I might bother you later for further instructions.
Regards Corinne

You can use Sassy Social, add to any, grow social or social rocket to your website and share accordingly.

Thank you Abie
I appreciate you taking the time to reply.
Corinne

Most welcome!

When I want to move a post from Site Content to my website I have a need to stop posts from being immediately published.

Is there a way to "publish" posts created in Sit

Since you have an auto responder which sends out published articles from your site, our suggestion will not help. but just be aware that you can "quick edit" any post that is "published" from Site content and change its status back to "draft". in8 "Quick Edit" see the option under a post when in "all posts":

I have found that when I publish the blog, I do it as a PAGE, not a Post. In All Pages then I Switch To Draft. (As you mentioned).
This way I am never in Public Mode.
Then I use a Post Type Switcher which seamlessly re-publishes the blog from a Page to a Post.
Just wanted to pass this on since you were so kind as to answer my original question.
Regards, Corinne

Copy and paste you post in WP and hit "save draft."

Thank you drjec, I will give it a whirl!
Corinne

When selecting images you want those over to your media library, here's what to do

I'd place my images in a document in site content and publish it to my site. it will be added to my WordPress media library. Then delete the “temporary image” doc in site content so that it does not get indexed as well.

Thank you Abie, this is my practice and it works perfectly well.

Regards, Corinne

That's awesome, Corinne! Most welcome!

Barry got you covered here.

However it is easier to publish to your WordPress and then reset the post as draft and edit.

thank you for your input.
This is what I can do.
Regards, Corinne

No worries, most welcome!

The only way to do this is to copy and paste your article into the post and then save it as draft if you click publish in th site editor t will automatically publish the post there is no way round this unless you copy and paste the content into your WP post by hand and then save it as draft

Once I publish in Site editor, I rush over to WP Posts and change from Public to Private in the Edit screen sidebar.
That gives me time to change/add photos till I change to Public again. Then it is well and truly Published!

Was just wondering if I could avoid this "Public" step.
Thank you for your help.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
My messages pages in WA are extremely slow, frustratingly slow!

Is anyone else experiencing this? If you have, how did you

You may need to empty the browser cache, refresh and try again. Try URL in a different browser or mobile device.

Thank you Abie, all these things I have done which is why I don't know why it is still a problem. When I change browsers the dashboard shows down the side of the page. I hate that so I go to the browser that shows the dashboard across the top of the page. If I knew how to change that it would be a winning combination!
Corinne

That's from the browser, and not the WA platform.

Super cool and I am so happy for you..

We are not experiencing issues.

What about clearing your browser cache. maybe that would help.
I hope it gets better.

Hi, thanks for the reply.

All the housekeeping has been done, so that is why I don't understand why it happens on my WA messages page only. Nowhere else.
I might have to google this.
