In wordpress set up do I choose subscriber administrator contributor etc...

thank you, someone advised me to use subscriber. I guess thats wrong. I wont have any trouble changing it-right? Im still building my site

Yes Carlene you can change it without trouble as long as you use an admin login. Stonefox has given you a helpful response and link from his tutorial below. Cheers! -Jhen

Did you get everything fixed yet?

Well if you're creating the new user for yourself, then you'd want to be an "administrator" as it will give you full access to do anything you want to the site. A contributor is what you'd assign to someone who just posted to your site, but doesn't have any other capabilities.. I think a subscriber has no real power to do anything on your site.

Administrator though I don't recall having to choose, though admin was the default setting
