My Niche Is My Hobby

Hi folks, my activity kinda slowed a lot owing to life and such. But I took the opportunity to actually touch my Warhammer hobby with painting yesterday. I completed my 3k text challange but is still in a draft format because there isn't much in the way of image content. One of the things I'm trying to achieve with my site is to use totally organic content (I.e pictures and project work done by myself).

Some could easily argue that sometimes you have to come up with a 'post everday' but most things in the wargaming world aren't so. Painting is quite a technical discipline in the wargaming world. Some of the people who enjoy the Warhammer 40,000 world are far more into the painting than the playing.

Relfection

But there is no awesome feeling to look at minatures you put the work into to build, paint and create a story around. For me, the site is likely to become more than a portal to introduce people to the game but to showcase my own creatvity and make something more unique. My progress is slow but very progress based.

One of the things that do strike out to me that Affliate Marketing will provide me with something I'd rather be doing than slogging away at a hot working enviroment hard on my weak feet. I enjoy writing and creating. And I never even knew that both writing and creating could become a means to gain an income. On top of that, I get to be in an environment where can hone this creativity

Already the spheres are changing in the hobby. A new Space Marine Codex is being released to counter the Chaos Space Marines, even though one is for the Imperium and the other against, I often comibine both because my particualr faction (the Alpha Legion) are reguarly played as non-Chaos but for the Imperium. It's a strange cross over. My review of the Chaos codex became indexed so what a time to be catching the drift.

Overtime, the content will grow but you know what they say? Good things come to those who wait and those who put the work in will get the result.

Photography Site

I finally branched out to create a second site though it has had teething problems as some of my images are edited through instagram, they pick up the JSON image errors but slowly getting some pictures amassed on there. One of my things has been uploading to the gallery and I can actually do this via mobile which is handy. I experiemented with watermarking but the process is too time consuming.

There has been a lot of practical and I've got tones of content. I'm likely to continue the process of gathering and I'm lot likely to catch up with it all. But I'm still at the experimental stage, I invested sometime into it while I readied my Warhammer content. uploaded some bits earlier I'm ahead on that, but might send a blog post or two to that.

All is good though, I'm still about. I was around town doing this and that as you do.
