This Time Next Year We ll Be Millionaires!
For all the British WA members this phrase probably reminds you of the British television sitcom Only Fools And Horses.
For all the non British WA members, what is Only Fools And Horses about?
It is about a family of two brothers living with their grandad in a shabby council flat in south-east London. They trade under the name Trotters Independent Traders on the black market with a three wheel van and try and make millions with get-rich-quick schemes. They did manage to make a living with it.
Throughout the whole series the older brother always quoted "This time next year, we`ll be millionaires".
The funny thing is, after years of illegal buying and selling they achieve their goal of becoming millionaires but not with their trading. They earn their millions with a pocket watch an antiques' dealer found on a gas cooker in their garage and put it up for sale at an auction.
What do I want to say with this post?
Don't trade illegally and don't chase get-rich-quick schemes! They are not going to give you the goals you are looking for!
Don't give up on your dreams!
There is one thing the older brother did right and that was repeat his goal over and over again. I know Only Fools And Horses is just a TV sitcom but guess what? It actually works!
If you repeat saying your dreams to yourself or with other people, there is a high chance you are going to achieve them. I wouldn't say too big dreams like, this time next year we`ll be millionaires but take small steps and say small dreams to yourself at a time.
For example, this time next year I`ll be earning $1`000 a month more thanks to Wealthy Affiliate. This dream would be more realistic.

I especially loved the episode (the actual episode where their dreams come true) they are at the auction and both pass out when they hear the amount of money the watch was sold for, then they sit in their van outside Sotheby’s and scream at the top of their voices shaking the little van.

Yes, that episode was hilarious and found it funny they lost it all in the end!
I couldn't believe it when I heard the series made it to the West End as a musical. I was not expecting that!
