Why You Should Build Your WA Referral Credit (Piggy) Bank
EVERY PENNY COUNTS
I had a huge piggy bank as a child. It was orange and made of hard plastic. My Dad would empty his pockets when he came home and put all his coins in there. Most of my pocket money went in there because I loved to lift it up and feel how much heavier it was getting.
From time to time, someone would put a paper note in it.
My piggy bank could not be opened. If I wanted to take anything out, I had to cut it open which would be the end of it. So, I just kept adding coins.
When we were moving, 6 years after I started to fill my piggy bank, I was 16 years old. It could no longer hold any more money and we decided to cut him open and take the money to the bank.
It was 1980.
We spent over an hour at the bank and at the end of all the counting, my hands were dirty and dull but . . . I walked away with over £200.00. That was a lot for a 16-year-old back then.
"£200 in 1980 is equivalent in purchasing power to about £1,096.00 today, an increase of £896.00 over 45 years. The pound had an average inflation rate of 3.85% per year between 1980 and today, producing a cumulative price increase of 448.00%."
MY WA REFERRAL CREDIT (PIGGY) BANK
Wealthy Affiliate (WA) just revamped our Referral commission programme for Premium and Premium+ members. They removed all the criteria for Starter members so you can earn $1.00 for every Starter member you refer to WA.
A simple requirement: Maintain at least a 5% conversion rate (meaning, 5 out of every 100 referrals upgrade to Premium).
I did a quick check this morning and realised that I am not doing too badly on the conversion front, PLUS I have $9.00 in my credit piggy bank that I did not even know I had.
Now that it is easier to click and sign up from Facebook, I intend to use this as a lead strategy to grow my WA Referrals this year.
What about you?
Will you be growing your WA piggy banks this year?
Let me know in the comments.
