Earn Rank Points Passively
These past weeks I have been burning the midnight oil. Waking early, working mindfully and steadfastfully throughout the day and into the wee hours of every morning. Every day. Non-stop, until yesterday (Saturday).
I was not tired, but I know how important rest and rejuvenation are. I spent the day with my daughter, relaxing, catching up on Netflix and BritBox, cooking and making some neat TokToks. 😊
We both agreed that we would leave the technology for a day and just live in the moment with each other. No Wealthy Affiliate (WA) for an entire day!
To my surprise, as I logged in today and began looking around my dashboard, I glanced my rank.
109! Did I say 109?! Yes, yes I did. My rank jumped 39 points while I was having fun, relaxing and sleeping. Isn't that neat?
I am still in shock. My daughter jumped and screamed for over 5 minutes. This is one of the best blessings I have received since I joined WA because it was not something I planned or targeted. It happened as I progressed with my learning and business here at WA.
Once again, I express my heartfelt thanks to the Members of our valued WA Community for all the support, guidance and sharing.
The Path To Ambassadorship
There has been much discussion recently about how we support each other in our WA Community and as a result what it means to be an Ambassador here. My rank jump this weekend got me thinking about it - for the very first time.

Being an Ambassador is not on my WA Bucket List currently. Perhaps because I am of the opinion that to occupy this leadership space you must have earned the respect and credibility required to be there. I do not think that I am anywhere close to those requirements yet.
There is a path to Ambassadorship, a rite of passage I believe. The path is not measured by simple financial success. It comes with some hard knocks, persistence, strength of character, humility, a wide network base, respect, involvement, growth, sharing, inspiration, tangible achievement, learning, teaching, sacrifice, flexibility. The list goes on.
In essence, for me (each person's criteria will be different), being an Ambassador has most to do with who you are as a human being rather than what you have materially and the volume of money you have acquired.
Hard and Soft Success
I am not saying that financial success is not important. It is. It is viewed in my list of success criteria as being a necessary hard (tangible) criteria. After all, if I do not earn money and make a profit how will I stay in business, right?
What I am saying is that it does not define - me. I am of the view that if I build a foundation to withstand the good and bad soft issues that I will encounter along my journey, I will ultimately achieve the financial success and be better able to sustain it.
Preparing myself to receive the tangible success that I am working towards is critical, in my opinion and an absolute must. I MUST be able to persevere and keep walking confidently.
So the question arises, which is most important? The hard, tangible goals or the soft, intangible ones? Well, you have to make that determination for yourself. 😊
Benefits To A High Rank At WA
There are many benefits to being ranked highly at WA. From what I understand, most - if not all - of them are not rewarding financially. Good with me.
During my rise into the Top 200 I have realised many benefits that I cannot put a dollar figure on. In my book, they are priceless.
Perhaps the most important one for me is the respect and recognition I continue to receive here. From both new Members and Members like Jeffrey, Catherine, Barbara, Mickey and so many others who have been here much longer. I am always thankful to receive their feedback, comments and gratitude.
Those behaviours are motivational and inspirational. Those behaviours represent the behaviours I have grown to admire and value highly in our founders, Kyle and Carson and other top Ambassadors like Jay and Nathaniell.
They definitely walk the talk and that is what true meaningful leadership is. An Ambassador is a leader. We follow leaders because of who they are.
Please think about that as you journey on the Path to Ambassadorship.
