WA Foundation Done The Skyscraper Rises
I am not building a 1, 2 or 3 storey online business. I am building a skyscraper! Nothing less will do. Before anyone jumps to conclusions, allow me to explain.
I would not describe myself as greedy, selfish or egotistic. My life beginnings and experiences are all too humbling for me to ever want to perform in those arenas.
A skyscraper.is necessary because I need enough room for all I want to accomplish and to support the many who deserve to have a better place or start to find and accomplish their dreams and life purpose.
We all deserve a solid break in life. Too few have too much and too many have too little.
WA Year 1, Quarter 3
My 6 month updates was shared 2 weeks ago. You can read it here if you missed it:
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/cassioftroy/blog/wa-6-months-of-accomplishments
Two weeks into my first year and 3rd quarter at WA and I am compelled to share some further updates.
Profile Photo Changed
Yep, I changed my Profile Photo. Now everyone can see me much better. Why is this important, you ask? Well, no more hiding. Hiding? Yes, hiding.
In my Caribbean environment, online businesses are still not viewed as being the most legitimate way to earn a living. Many are of the view that being online means you spend your time making irrelevant and unimportant videos and the like to fool people into giving you their money.
Many still believe that THE most respected way to earn a living is through selling your labour cheap to some brick-and-mortar mammoth for the rest of your life, for pennies and a plaque.
It has taken me a while to establish my own confidence and self-respect within the online world. Much of my gratitude for getting to that place is owed to Wealthy Affiliate (WA) and the Community (capital C) I am now proud to be a Member (capital M) of.
With that confidence under my wing, I am now ready to take on the world, facing forward, with an inviting smile.
Business Purpose (Niche-s) Nailed On The Head
I am an ISTP - Introverted, Sensing, Thinking and Perceiving. According to the profile outline, I am a Craftsman with a Virtuoso personality. A Virtuoso explores ideas through creating, troubleshooting, trial and error and first-hand experience.
https://www.truity.com/personality-type/ISTP
According to this personality type, I am motivated by a strong desire to achieve by utilising my technical expertise in business or technology. I prefer tangible results, trouble-shooting and I am energized by action. I dislike wasting time theorizing.
I value efficiency, logic and demand flexibility in my work. I do not like being burdened by rules, procedures and regulations (like having at be seen at 8:00 a.m., every morning in an office).
Do you see where I am going with this?
It is apparent that being an Online Entrepreneur is right down my alley. Not only that, as I have discovered, it feeds directly into the Niche(s) that I have chosen to build my businesses within.
For now, I will leave the affiliate side where it is and focus on Niche Marketing. Later on I will share why and in the medium term, I will return to the affiliate stream.
WA Rank IS Important
When I wrote my 6 month update, I was still in the Top 200. I cannot tell you when I graduated into the Top 100, but I only realised last night. While listening to Jay during training, I glimpsed the rank on my profile and had to look twice for it to sink in.
Upon checking I saw that yesterday I rose 1 point to Rank 96. So, it must have been sometime during the week. I have been busy working on the back end of my websites so I did not pay much attention to it.
The rank is important to me because it represents all the learning and hard work that I have put in to establish myself as a respected Member of our Community. With respect comes the ability to reach out and help more of our Members. I value that immensely.
Working in an environment where you are valued and respected opens many doors. It is easier to reach out and ask for help and support directly. People take you seriously.
Forever Grateful
I will forever be indebted to this Community for everything that I have learned and experienced these past months. To say that my life has changed would be putting it mildly.
You have helped me to see - really, knowingly see - what is possible and to realise that, within this vast internet space, my hard work WILL be recognised, respected, rewarded and remembered.
- You have embraced me.
- You have been kind to me.
- You have taught me.
- You have supported me.
How could I not reward you by showing you that your efforts were not in vain?
Be Safe. Be Well.

Myers-Briggs! INTJ/P here according to the model.
Just remember that MBTI is a scalar 'snapshot' measure and doesn't speak at all to the depth of one's personal development; also, it's more malleable/manipulable than some other personality type measures, such as the Big 5.
It's all too easy to pat oneself on the back for their unique personality type, not realizing that the real value of a type indicator is evaluation of where one tends to permit biased perceptions of themselves, others and reality.
My personal view is that mindset drives success because it overrides the limits of one's personality, which is inherently self-limiting, because it's an external projection of the protective ego.
You might find all this a bit theoretical, although I promise it's not wasting your time! cheers!
Thank you, Marc.
As you have written in your profile - Mindset changes everything. 😊
Learning is never a time-waster.

Cassi you are quite the beautiful lady inside and out, and did I read you were an introvert, well this blog was written by one sweet very honest extrovert. You certainly have your goals set out and I wish you all the success possible in obtaining them, all that is left to say is you're welcome for that gracious thank you and I know I am speaking for the entire Wealthy Affiliates (WA) community.
Joe
Joe, you are very kind.
Gratitude seems so little for all that I receive here at WA.
I trust that the majority of our Members feel the same way.
All the very best success to you also.
Cassi
I just want to say thank you for sharing your story! It is very inspiring! you really light a fire in me to give my all and to become the best that i can be. And to do that i have to look in the mirror and truly see myself! not what everyone sees. it starts within and with self love, and confidence.Believing in my self before i can grow into who i am mint to be.
Again THANK YOU!!
Arlanders, you are more than welcome.
It is good of you to come by and have a read and I am thankful that it has inspired you to do YOUR best.
Take you time to define what that is because it will be THE most important thing to propel you to success and keep you strong when you get there.

Cassi,
Thanks for so much. I appreciate that you've changed your profile pic, you have an infectious smile. And you're right about coming out and being seen. I too was hiding myself when I first came here. My original profile pic was a version of a Kokopelli which I still have posted on my profile page. I still use that avatar on other projects I've got going.
Again Cassi, thank you for being you
Greg
You are welcome, Greg.
So many of us seem to live cautiously.
The reality is that building a successful business requires trust.
People will be more trusting when they can see a face in front of the brand.
Thank you for being in my corner and for all of your support.
