"Do Not Waste Your Time Blogging at Wealthy Affiliate!"

When I first joined our community, I observed a few members telling others, "Do not waste your time blogging at Wealthy Affiliate (WA)."

In the early days, I did not pay much attention to it because my head was buried in learning. I was new and I did not know anything at all.

Who was I to comment?

But as time rolled on and I dived in and learned more, blogging less at WA seemed to not make much sense to me. After all, we each have our own website here, right?

Yes, it is a sub domain website BUT, it rests on a mature and highly respected domain with MILLIONS of blog posts and probably zillions of comments!

It is ripe for search engine indexing and ranking.

Tell Me It Cannot Be Done

I admit that I am one of those. Tell me it cannot be done and I will show you many ways that it can.

Okay, call me a rebel.

So, although I did not set out to prove anyone wrong, I did move forward with what I thought to be logical.

I launched my personal WA brand, Cassi Of Troy, in August 2020, going against the grain of those who said it was not a good idea. And, I continued to blog regularly at WA.

Slight change though.

If you go back to my early blogging at WA, you will note that those blogs were mainly directed towards our community, platform and members.

Over the past 3 months, I have been slowly transitioning towards the 4.5 billion internet users out there.

With good reason.

Dominating the Search Engines

A quick Google search for 'cassi of troy' or 'cassi of troy wealthy affiliate', shows this:

Even WA's Ad got push to the bottom of the page:

It is the same with Bing and Yahoo.

Results? Consistent WA Referrals and Sales

Last night, while working on some social media planning, I noticed that another WA Referral had upgraded:

This WA Referral was as a direct result of sharing my WA blogs on Facebook. Just like my other WA Referrals.

Since November, I have been welcoming Referrals and upgrades regularly into our WA Community. The trajectory is on the rise and the plane to Las Vegas is being cleaned as I write.

I have learned to never say "never". Instead, I believe anything is possible.

Who knows? I could make it to Las Vegas.

Replicate the Process

So, if you are seriously in search of a home, a community, a learning environment and the opportunity to earn limitless income online, there is no better place than at Wealthy Affiliate.

I am a testimony to that!

Our system works!

Now that I fully understand how the process works, the time that it takes, the investment required and the support I have available to me I am moving forward to bring my 3 other websites into alignment with personal WA brand.

It will take me much less time.

4 online businesses earning 4-digits income a year can quickly grow into 5-digits and 6-digits earnings.

That's how you replicate!

Hi Cassi,

I can kick myself for missing this post of yours. The lesson this taught me was to write my WA blog posts more consistently and promote them on my Facebook Business page.

Other WA affiliate links were what I used more often on Facebook but rarely mine. I think I will have to make a change.

There are so many helpful posts I have written on WA that I can go back and post those on my Facebook page at regular intervals and see what happens.

Thanks Cassi.

Edwin

Better late than never, Edwin. :-)

Thank you for the endorsement.

That is an excellent strategy with Facebook.

Here's what I do:
I have my personal account and my Cassi Of Troy brand account.
I prefer to do a general post on my personal account about the subject which I then share on my COT business page, with a link to the WA blog post (no affiliate link)
Then, I make a personal comment with my affiliate link.

This maximum exposure strategy has been working very well for me to generate traffic.

Keep in touch and let me know how things go.

Hi Cassi,

Great tips. I too have two Facebook accounts, one personal and the other a business page. It is on the latter where I write brief messages that link to WA.

Facebook has barred me from linking to my website because it seems that someone complained about it. But they will not tell me why and how I can change that. I cannot even use my website link on my Instagram profile since it is owned by Facebook.

I have placed posts on my personal FB page with affiliate links to my WA articles occasionally. But none of my friends act on it. Hence I do that very rarely.

Therefore I only use links to my website on LinkedIn and Twitter. I wonder what happens on my WordPress SEO where I fill in the information for Facebook and Twitter. I think the Twitter post automatically occurs but nothing on FB because of their ban. I am a bit naive about how WordPress SEO applies social media data.

When you link to your blogpost on WA am I understanding correctly that you use the general URL instead of your affiliate link? Why? Since you include the affiliate link in your personal comment you are doing that anyway. I will be checking out your Cassi Of Troy FB page to get a better understanding of how you are doing this. I have never used my general WA URL to show anywhere. May I ask what is the advantage of doing that? I feel there is a lesson here for me ha!

Thanks so much for your time.

Edwin

I agree with you, Cassi! :)
What I also like about blogging here at WA is that we add value to the community and can use those blogs in our communication with our referrals as a kind of a bonus.
As well as sharing our steps and goals, which adds in accomplishing our own goals.
Thanks for the inspiration.

A perfect summary and understanding, Hannie.
Effectively managing many things at once.

Thank you for sharing.

BTW I saw we share the same coach here at WA :-D

Nathaniell!!! 🙂

He is great!

Cassi

I totally agree. Again, LOL

🙂

Hi Cassi, this is one of the areas I struggle with. I would occasionally produce a blog over the course of my time here at WA. Unfortunately, I fail to plan to write here as much and focus on mine and my wife's websites more.

You are so right about needing to consider the blog posts here. Maybe I need to get back to one every once in a while. It'll be better than nothing. Thanks for the reminder and the inspiration.

I wish you the best!
Bob

You are very welcome, Bob.

WA is a silent yet powerful opportunity that we should harness more.

I am sure that your websites are doing well.

Cassi

Hi Cassie of Troy (TM). I thought I had been missing out on blog posts but actually I use them on a daily basis and my ranking has changed in a upward direction, so I'm quite happy. My earning have exploded, and I was making $0.00, but then it went to ,$0.000, and now it's at six figures $0.00000

Dave, thank you for sharing.

Cassi

I see your point, like how you shared your results and why it is important to use the WA blog platform to reach 4.5 billion users.

Thank you for the information.

You are very welcome, Joseph.

As my WA sub domain continues to mature, it will get even more visitors.

Thank you for sharing.
