9 Months On - Google, Bing, Yahoo Authority & Revenue Growth
Building a niche in a market that may seem over saturated, requires a lot of research, experimentation, persistence and some different approaches. Success does not happen for you overnight and you should understand this from the start.
The faster you put the "do it quick" paradigm aside, the faster success will come your way. Consistent, long-term success that is.
I have shared that I am in transition, moving my business strategy from being 100% offline in the last quarter of 2019. I have set myself a 3-year timeline to achieve that.
My objectives are:
- 80% offline and 20% online in 2020.
- 50% offline and 50% online in 2021.
- 20% offline and 80% online in 2022.
So far I am on track for my 2020 transition and from where I sit now, it looks as though I will attain my 2020 targets.
But . . . something interesting is happening to my offline business because of my online development.
Online Feeds Offline
I decided to use one of my offline businesses, a behaviour and management consultancy firm, as my online "guinea pig". The old website was shut down and I built a new one as I followed my OEC course, earning my certification a few weeks ago.
So far, I have written over 65 blogs to support this business transition. Some are already on my website and some have been used to drive my Social Media campaigns.
Recently, something happened has added a significant increase to my revenue. I did not expect to benefit from this as my focus has been on building my website and driving traffic to it.
Those strategies are working in a truly passive way though. 😀
Search Engine Authority Has Its Benefits
One of my first blogs, written in 2019, started to move up the rank ladder on Google early this year. Some time following, I noticed that same blog was also ranking on page 1 on Bing and Yahoo.
Two weeks ago I received a call from a Finance Manager here in Trinidad who was doing some research on those keywords for some training interventions for their management team. She came across my blog which led her to my company's website.
We have been speaking and exchanging ideas since then and on Friday she informed me that her proposal to her MD to retain our services was approved. She congratulated me on being a "Google authority".
I humbly accepted her recognition and quickly checked Jaaxy only to find out that my blog continued to rank number 1 . . . on Google, Bing and Yahoo!!
PLUS!! Another article I wrote using the same keywords ranked number 2 on Google! Both could be seen right after "Scholarly articles . . . " which knocked the socks off of the MD.
Tomorrow morning we will meet to sign a one-year retainer. This is a large multi-national organisation whose Head Office is located in Houston. Most of the engagements will be facilitated remotely.
You Never Know Who Is Looking
The vastness of the internet world should tell you that you could be the focus of anyone, anywhere, anytime. This is the reason why you should out your footprint out there as professionally as possible.
From simply searching Google, reading my blogs and seeing my rankings, I am now considered a "Google authority". This does not happen just by chance I was told and I must therefore know what I am talking about.
The opportunity would never have come my way if I had not found WA and developed the skills and expertise that I have today.
Our training and systems work! Follow them and you too will discover hidden opportunities in as you travel your road of achievement and success.
Have a truly engaging week!!!

Awesome job. Not only on the ranking on Google, Bing and Yahoo, but on learning and using the information, classes and tips that you learned at WA. You also deserve a huge amount of credit not only for learning as you did, but for having the confidence to make that information useful in your professional life. FANTASTIC.

Jerry,
Thank you very much for all of your encouragement and recognition.
I am learning so much a tWA that it is almost impossible not to have a positive impact on my personal life.
The potential is limitless!
I trust that all is well with you.
