Why Are You In Business?
I wanted to give a quick update with some general comments. So far my blog both with affiliate and non-affiliate links has been receiving gradual increase in traffic since launching 6 days ago. The traffic so far has been light about 10-15 uniques a day. But hey honestly I'll take that as with Google AdSense installed every hit is another chance to make money off of the affiliate information and advertising. Jaaxy has become my new best friend finding great niche words as well as social media posting (StumbleUpon, Delicious, Digg, Reddit, etc.).
When I got into this business I had one main goal, to help people. I'm in the finance realm and always have been. Most people I have encountered in my life don't fully understand it, yet it is the ultimate foundation of our society as everything is based on money and how you use it. Do I want to make money off the website, of course, but in the off change that no one ever buys a product I have recommend or I get zero advertising dollars I can sleep well at night knowing people are getting the use out of my site and helping themselves and/or their family out.
So why did you get into business? Was it for the money or the passion? Sometimes I see people going into business for the money reason while that is a result it shouldn't be the goal of the business.
