VISITOR BENEFIT

Ultimately the reader must benefit in some way from going to your site. Think about a site that you have been to and liked. How did you benefit from going to that site?

Thinking about the downside is just as important as thinking about the benefit.

Perhaps the reader went to your site and got what they wanted (in the form of a promotion etc) easily and quickly. Is it going take them lots of efforts(cost the reader more) to get that promotion in the form of paper and ink or a long drive(gas) to access the promotion. All these things should be taken into consideration when choosing promotion giveaways etc.

A great way to get some good ideas (give away ideas) for your site is to look at other sites that are also doing well. There are tones of sites out there to look at. I generally go to some of the sites that are doing really well in the niche that I have chosen and get promotional ideas from those site. Also, it is a great way to improve on what those other sites have done so that you can get a good ranking and good traffic.
