I just posted my first post with WP 5 and I felt it was a little cumbersome. Maybe because it was all new and I felt like I had a learning curve to overcome.
What specific advantages are you experiencing with WP 5? What features do you enjoy with the new?
Gutenberg is one thing. Probably because I am used to Elementor, I got the hang of Gutenberg within minutes. I also like the new default theme 2019. It gives a nicer look and feel.
I just wrote my 1st post with WordPress 5 and it has turned out so great and wasn't too tricky to use

I only started my website a month ago so I thought I may as well start straight out with the Gutenberg Editor Beta Version.
It’s a little different, but once you get used to it it’s easier to use, in my opinion, especially for editing on mobile devices, something I need to do often otherwise I won’t get anything done.
I particularly like it that everything is in blocks and you can move the individual blocks to relocate somewhere else in your post with just a click or two.
