WA Forum Sunsets to a Rising Glow

Last Update: March 23, 2014

Today you may have noticed that the WA Forum has been removed from the main menu. This was a legacy system that we used for many years as the communication platform of WA. However, this has been long overdue to be removed from the main menu as it is barely used. We let the system fade away graciously over the past year and be overshadowed by the many communication platforms that are now available at Wealthy Affiliate.

Activity has NEVER been better!

With literally thousands of comments, blogs, discussions, messages, chats and interactions streaming into Wealthy Affiliate on a daily basis, the community has never been more alive. Support happens quickly, discussions are highly engaging (and valuable), and members of the community are able to get help in a way like nowhere else in the world!

The Forum was removed from the main menu but will remain available. It has been replaced with blogs, classrooms, discussions, comments, live chat and private messaging. All of which are current and able to deliver the quality of service that will meet our incredibly high expectations.

Achieving new Milestones. Lots to come...

Although the community at Wealthy Affiliate is at an all time high, we're not taking the foot off the gas for one second. We've got many improvements and exciting new features coming that are going to continue to push the community to new heights. More Support, faster response times, better training, new and improved tools...all with the goal to help spawn more success!

Building a wildly successful Internet business is what we want every single member at Wealthy Affiliate to achieve. Staying current and ahead of the online business world, up to date on strategies, and success building tools is not only a goal for Kyle and I, but a promise. We want all members at WA to be the best in the world!

As we move away from the WA Forum, we look to our new and improved communication channels to take us into the future.

The future of Wealthy Affiliate is bright and we can't wait to show you what is in store ;)

Tell us what you think by leaving us your feedback or a comment below!

Cheers,

Carson

I need to go back to some of my old posts on the Forum. The link below is bringing up a blank page. Forum totally inaccessible now?

I thought I would miss the old forum, but going back there...it just isn't that easy to navigate and so easy to get lost in it. Love the new forms of communication much better. Great change, thanks!

And I was about to ask what happened to a hallmark of WA? I have just re-joined recently after 5 years of being dormant and that was the first thing I wanted to check out.

I will have to get used to the new way of communication around here :)

I know I'm here kinda late with this. I've known about the Forum since it was removed when someone mentioned it. It shocked me as I thought it was gone for good.

Of course, I immediately looked into it and was relieved to find it still accessible. I hope it stays here with us for time to come because, if anything, I like to read the posts from early WA. It may talk about things that are now dated, but there are also timely things in there.

I would be very happy for the remainder of my time here, if the Forum remains available. Though today I have been making an income and that we have much more today than we did then, I found my earlier experiences at WA happier & exciting. For the sake of encouragement and not so much the technology and today's Internet, the Forum is still very helpful to me.

Thanks for the link, was using it as day time reading on phone during the day.

Is there anyway to bookmark training/posts on the WA site? Would love to be able to save useful content without using bookmarks in my browser.

A "bookmarking" system is something that we most definitely will be working on adding. This has been at the top of our list of things to add for quite some time!

When reading through the forum, just make sure that you're not reading out dated posts because you do not want to run into the situation where you're learning from old techniques that may not still work or be valid.

This was one of the reasons that we decided to "sunset" the forum. There are LOADS of current discussions within Classrooms, for some nightly reading that would be my suggestion on where to spend some time :)

The more 'communication channels' - the better community we will become. Won't miss the forum, guess came later when it was in it's prime. Used it but the PM plus creating discussions makes helping one another so much easier. Ready for the next addition and change. That means we all keep moving forward to the IM of the future. ^_~

Thanks for the comment Caylynn. We are definitely moving forward and everything we do at WA is done with the intention to build a community that stays ahead of the online business trends. Being part of WA will make sure that you are always up to date and using the most effective strategies!

Goodby Old Friend Of Mine...I have great memories of the Forum. There were some great early members there to make great informative Post...there was Travis who coined the phrase "Bum Marketing" and " Pot Pie Girl", Marcus and If I remember correctly Jay and of course K&C...and many more! To me those were Giants as I was brand new to this thing called Internet Marketing...

I would read and copy and paste all the great post and discussion.

Crystal Radios, the Morse code the Navy stopped using, and the party lines for the telephone...oh ya don't forget the dial on the phones...there all gone

What next Me.........

Most change is good and this is...

Hey Ron.. Yes there were good times in the forum and we will never forget the half a million discussions that happened over the years. With the new tools at Wealthy Affiliate, however, the community has a BUZZ that it's never experienced. More people are communicating, more people are succeeding, and it's only going to keep evolving and getting better.

We will keep the forum link available in this blog post so that at any time folks want to go back and see the history of WA they can!

@ Carson..Yep It was great...However WA has keep up with the times....Thanks for keeping the link here...The post PDF that Travis wrote after his first Vegas trip was what got me to making some decent money...It was titled something like..."What would I do if I had to start all over" It was kinda of a look in to local marketing...Don't suppose you still have a copy??

Thanks for link back to the old forums, Carson, there are some useful old posts I'm still working through - glad that they are still going to be available to refer to. Regards, Paul

Sounds good Paul, just keep in mind that some of the posts and comments in the old forum are just that "old". The Internet changes so quickly that you want to be careful that you're not reading old techniques or strategies that do not work. That said, there are some great motivational posts in the forum that are really fun to read!
