WA Email Manager - A New Platform is Born

WA hosted websites now have a brand new way to manage email accounts. It’s fast, it’s easy and it will save you a ton of time as your email management is all in one place. I’d like to take this opportunity to outline the WA Email Manager tab within your Websites dashboard.

Managing email account is now simple as there is no reason to log into the Plesk control panel to awkwardly setup your email. Now right within WA you can:

• Manage Email Mailboxes
• Manage Email Forwards
• Access Web Mail

This is just the Start!

We have long had the plan of building our own hosting control panel that removes all of the technical jargon and clunky interfaces associated with other hosting companies who use Control Panels like Plesk or Cpanel. Control panels complicate simple tasks that should be quick and easy. For someone just learning about web hosting, learning how to navigate through a control panel is the last thing you want to do. At WA, Kyle and I would rather see you spending your time working on your website, researching keywords, or writing an article that will generate traffic.

At WA hosting you can already add a domain in just a few seconds, now you can manage email accounts for these domains. You can build a WordPress website in literally 60 seconds or less using our website builder WordPress Express. You have full access to your website file system using FTP (File Transfer Protocol) programs. You can upload, download, modify files, delete files, or set permissions on files using FTP.

The plesk has been on the chopping block for too long now and due to security vulnerabilities we found in plesk while fixing some websites that were hacked on the WA hosting network. This has given us the incentive to remove plesk for good and replace it with something better.

The Goal - Simplification

When a domain is purchased you need to tell that domain where the website actually resides. Changing your domain’s nameservers tells the browser where to look for your website files. When you use WA hosting you point your domain to our servers so that your website will show up. This can take up to 24 hours to change.
