Are you a new writer struggling to get ideas for the posts you need to write? If so, you are not alone. It takes time and practice for any kind of writer, no matter how good or how experienced, to quickly come up with great post ideas. Don’t be discouraged. Instead, get the advice of some other writers. I can provide some guidance about writing, since that is what I do.
My very first bit of advice is simple: write what you love. Whenever I come to a standstill about things to cover, I return to things that I am passionate about, which is helping others. I may not have the ability to write a very convincing short article about why all children need to watch professional wrestling (due to the fact that I don't believe it is true) but I may have the ability to write an outstanding short article about adjusting to major life changes brought by a death, stroke or other catastrophic event. Writing must begin from things that matter to you. Reflect on things that you value and let those offer you ideas for writing. If you’re writing for your business, surely you are passionate about that and should have much to write about.
It is important to also think of your target market prior to your starting to write an article of any kind. It is always smart as a writer to try to create short articles that will in some way connect with and make an impact on your audience . In addition, as you want to blog about things that matter to you, so you should blog about things that matter to them. No one will read posts that aren’t interesting to them. For that reason, try to learn what people care about most. Do studies or speak to your close friends who check out posts, or ask your customers what would interest them. Readers are the very best source for authors to discover good topics for writing posts.
One more simple piece of advice I'll give about creating good articles is to read. You read me right: read . Every single good writer whom I know is a regular reader. Why? Due to the fact that we learn from checking out the work of various other authors. It is among one of the most valuable things any kind of writer can do to improve. Reading keeps us involved in language and good writing as well as fuels ideas for our own writing. When you're stuck, simply pick up a magazine or visit a blog and check out an article or two. Don't hesitate to mimic what you read. Note that I said mimic, not copy. Copying is a no-no.The more you read the much less chance you have of copying something you've read. Check out the overall structures of articles as you read them to get ideas for when you write your own articles.
Short-article writing can be fun and uplifting. Simply take your time, relax, and enjoy it. You will never last long with something you don’t like. Remember that you are writing what you already know and care about.

Agreed. Write about something you care about. This seems obvious, but I keep seeing it repeated everywhere on WA. I don't understand who would try and write about something they don't care about. Did we not learn anything from freshmen English?
Nice post, Carole!
