Personally, I would wait a bit until you get a little more content. They may decide your site doesn't have enough authority yet.
But it doesn't hurt to try if you really want to. If you're declined, just try again later.
I've been with CJ for a long time, and if you don't sell anything for a long time, they send you an email. All I did was go into my account to show I'm still around, and everything was fine. I've never had to reapply.
Maybe try that trick to see if it helps, lol.

I just saw an article which showed twitter and Facebook in the lead. Lol.
It depends what your niche is. Millennials and xGens seem to only use Instagram these days.
