Hello!, Anyone Out There With A Creative Type Niche?

I would like to connect here within WA (and the WWW) with a creative type niche. I'm curious how they are balancing their creative niche interests with working through the lessons here at WA. Please reply if you are out there.

My intent is to share and encourage others who would like to make money online doing something creative with opportunities WA can offer them. At the same time sharing and inspiring with my own creative interests. I think this can convert to most any creative interests. Am I reaching too far?? I'm not a professional photographer or professional anything. I've been working and raising a family. I only now have been given the opportunity to do something creative to make money.

Maybe because my niche is a creative one and or it is about learning and sharing as I go, that I have decided to go through the course work here at WA a little differently. Now that I have been through the WA boot camp and now on Course 5 of the Get Started Here lessons I've decided to skim through the lessons and make notes of anything useful for writing out my content. I guess I'm afraid I'm going to miss something in these WA lessons that I will kick myself for later for missing it. Then I'm going to focus on researching and getting into the meat and potatoes of my niche. It seems every time I attempt it I end up tweaking my niche somewhat. For me, and I assume there are others like me, I tend to get caught up in the things I do and I lose track of time. So, I will focus my time to finish up the lessons quickly, then focus on content for a while. This will give me quality content to share and build on and a clearer vision of my niche. Then, I can go back through the lessons with some quality content and work on the social aspect of WA and on my site. I will also have more knowledge to be more helpful to my fellow WAers.

I got caught up in the possibilities of promoting BEFORE I created quality content. The content I wrote for the classwork assignments and the boot camp are mostly promotional. If that is all I have to share at this point then I come across as a seller or as spam. I don't want that, of course. I need to focus on finding and relating to the people out there that are like me.....want or need to be home, would love to do that creative thing they've always wanted to do. For me, and I'm sure many others, I can't justify spending big chunks of time or any money doing something creative without it creating some income that would help out financially.

My idea is geared toward creative types that find themselves needing (or wanting) to stay home but would love to do something creative to earn income online. For the crafty, creative types. But, let's face it, that is not a lucrative way to bring in income unless you are on the internet. But when I found WA and learned of the many ways to monetize a website, I thought why not incorporate this with a creative site. WA would be very helpful for even creative types who want to build a website and learn to monetize it if they chose to do so, but also the WA affiliate program would be available to them. Amazon more than likely has books and products that can be helpful in all kinds of creative niches. Other independent affiliate programs and networks that are relative to whatever they build their site around.

So, if you're out there and are wanting to go a creative route like me, I'd like to hear from you.
