Get back to work, don't give up.

I've been inactive for a while now. I even thought of cancelling my WA membership earlier this year. I was overwhelmed with too many options, too many interests and how any of it could be profitable as a blog. I have since become a distributor for a make up company called SeneGence in March. It is an MLM company and I have no sells experience at all. I loved the product. It is a long lasting cosmetic line, better known for their lip color, LipSense that doesn't smudge and can last 4-18 hours. The company hit a growth spurt this year, what investors call the momentum stage. A stage where most companies crash and burn because they can't keep up with the product demands and don't adjust and grow the company for long term growth. We we're out of stock most of the year and crashed the server anytime a product came back in stock. Only a lucky few would get to purchase the product before it would be out of stock again within an hour. We distributors would trade products through the mail, or in grocery store parking lots, like drug dealers to keep our clients happy and fill their orders. It forced us to work as a team instead of competitors, and we kept encouraging each other to not give up. Meanwhile the owner hired key people with proven records of taking companies like Loreal and Beachbody through the momentum stage all the way to the top where they become stable, long term companies and household names. We started seeing inventory come back week by week over the summer and are now 98% full stock now. It's been crazy, stressful but very exciting rollercoaster ride.

When I joined SeneGence, it was another attempt to find a way to make money from home and make my own hours, be my own boss, but so far, it's the only one I've actually made money with and I'm just getting started. I may not be one of the fast growing, success stories of women entrepreneurs this company has helped create, but it has lit a fire that I had lost. It's been exciting to watch some.od these girls slay their businesses and inspire the rest of us to try harder and step out of our comfort zone. I've made some friendships with like minded ideas of being their own boss.

I still work part time as a nurse at a job I love, but does not pay wel because of very little hours. I take my time learning this make up business, watching and learning how I can find my own niche and grow my business my way and at my pace. I'm ok with that because I still have the options and freedom to build a more diverse business that helps other women market theirr MLM businesses and also share other opportunities for women to make money from home or make thier own hours to help fund and grow the vision they have for their unique, successful life they love.

That idea has helped me find focus again and purpose to not give up on a way to make a living I enjoy, which for me is truly what success means.

Interesting other this - years ago I was part of Herbalife and worked my way up to a GET team member but then got offered to join Lifestyles which I did -
But the thing about MLM is the way you have to work so hard to make a person get the qualifying quota so you can earn is the thing that upset me - You see you HAD yo buy to earn and this was such a stress so I walked away after a year!

There are similarities here but in a different way and this is why I love WA - you have different ways to earn!

I have been virtually inactive all summer as I work in my garden but now autumn is here so more free time so I am starting to work on my sire again and loving it
