I am considering three of the plugins recommended by theme Kidzoo Lite. Anyone with experience or thoughts re this theme and plugins: Better Font Awesome, Woo Product Slider an
If they are recommended plugins for your theme then you should install them. If you are uncertain, make sure you backup your site first.
The theme probably won't work properly without using the plugins. I've read a couple of places that if you install plugins and don't activate them that it opens your site up to being hacked.
So if you're not comfortable trying it yourself, find another theme that doesn't require plugins. Then you can find ones that do what you want, read reviews, etc.
