My Experience at WA After 1 month as a premium member

Hi guys, This is my blog for the end of month 1 as a premium member.

To be fair, its been great, I am really Enjoying it, and logging on as often as I can.

What I've enjoyed

  • I am enjoying the community here at Wa, the fact that everyone is ready to help, Especially big @rich in the live chat, hes awesome.
  • I enjoy the fact that everyone is so supportive and that people are so willing to offer site comments when you get to that point.
  • Also i love the insight we get, such as "low hanging fruit, using google+ to share content, and the language People use when they are looking to buy a produtc.

These things would have taken years for me to master on my own, maybe I never would have worked them out!

What Im struggling with

  • Content creation, I am not an expert in my niche, and have to do a lot of research to create content, to make sure I am providing correct information
  • SEO, I am using yoast SEO as well as the all in one, and I have yet to gain a green spot for my SEO, (my content is always green) Green is good, Red is bad). Also when I search for my website on google, Inflatable kayak bible, Content comes up, and not the main page. Maybe I need a landing page? anyone got any tips haha.

A question I have

when I was a non premium user at WA ( for about 2 months due to circumstance) I think someone mentioned 1 to 1 mentoring in an email, is this provided at WA or am I losing the plot? haha

Success

I am not hugely proud of what I have achieved up to now, I am still not ranking highly on google, but I am proud of what I have learned. And proud that I have created my very own website, and am finally creating my own buisness!

Plan For the Next 3 months

  • Drive forward with the training programme
  • Pump up my content building
  • Monetise my website
  • try to find more time for affiliate marketing and blogging

Plan for 6 Months

Get rich, retire early! haha

  • Push forward with the trining
  • experiment with different techniques. i.e. themes, forums, email list marketing, shring content, varying my copywriting technique to see what people like and what makes them want to buy.
  • start another site, within a slighty different niche, i.e. fishing kayaks. or sea kayaks
  • go for ambassadorship within WA.
  • Start promoting WA

keep it up

Yes I am seeing where you are coming from and I am struggling with some of the same things. Like for instance what I am truly interested in to create my niche. I have one website that is in my own domain and I am proud of how far I have come. But I do struggle with other niche ideas. I hope that this will come easier over time. I hope for the best for you. I like your goals and don't give up. I am trying so hard to get as far as I can particularly in the first month since it was only 19 dollars...ha ha. But I know that soon I will have to pay 49 dollars to keep going. So with that being said I hope to never lose the fire and continue with the training. Again I hope that you find your answers and continue when you can to add to your respective niche....best wishes to you.

Thanks, its good to talk with someone at the same level as me, I think thats what will make the difference, keep going even when it gets tough, good luck to you to my friend.

I'm afraid you must not use both Yoast and All-in-One SEO together, only one or the other, or you will end up with some very strange results!

I recently changed back from Yoast (premium) to All-in-One SEO (free) as have some other members and we are now seeing much better ranking results, lots of page 2-3 listings going to page 1.

Yoast is incredibly popular because of the interactive feedback, but this is really nothing more than ticking an automated checklist that you could easily do yourself from a sheet of paper, it has no effect in itself on ranking. In fact, there are far better tools than Yoast for ensuring that your text is formatted and optimised to get the very best search engine results (especially as Yoast have moved many features from the free to the paid version). For example, Web Text Tool https://app.webtexttool.com/#/register-free

Thanks rich, Ill switch back to the all in one SEO, I have learned alot from using it though. But it is muddling up my search results.

No probs. you're most welcome! :)
