I own the 'luckiest woman alive' title in that I have a wonderful husband and 3 gorgeous kids. I was privileged to be a stay at home mum (and indulge my craft interests and go for coffee with my friends each week) until a few years ago when we made an international move.

We loaded up the family, the dog and cat and a 20ft container and arrived ready to start again! I thought I would pick up the pieces and continue with the affiliate marketing interest I had. Hitting the ground running, however, meant I became a 40 hour a week shift working mother... and finding out we were middle age and had no credit rating changed my focus somewhat for the next three years!

At this stage in life we would like to be 'getting ahead'. Paying off our home (which we have finally been able to buy!) Flying business class (yes we were lucky enough to do that and how do we go back?!) Own a second car. Holiday where we want as well as where we desire to go for family visits.

Most of all I want more time with my husband. A life where he doesn't work 9-5 to provide for the kids sacrificing his family time and his wonderful dreams in the meantime. For me I want to be a mother again without the work commitments that hound my hours.

Life has stabilised and I have grabbed the affiliate dream again! I am really excited. This time I know my passion and have grown into my niche. Deep experiences in life can do that, you know?!

Hello Heather,♫Welcome! Nice to meet you ツ I wish you a lot of learning pleasure and fun on WA. Thank you for adding me to your network.

From the start, I have written training for every issue I had problems with myself. I made an addition for After The Walkthrough. Also a list of 1001 niche ideas, a checklist with 25 points to go through before you publish a post, 101 blogging ideas when you get stuck and an A-Z WA dictionary. I just love lists:) It has been very helpful to a lot of people. I have listed them in one blog you can find on my profile. It's the first website link right under “Follow me on” (click on my picture to get there). I hope to help you with those.

If you have any questions, please reply to this message or leave a comment on my profile.
Success building your business in 2017. See you around, Greetings Loes

So nice of you to respond Loes. Yes, I like lists too. It keeps me focused on the most important stuff. I do feel a bit stuck in a loop at the moment as I love the writing bit but the technical bits not so much!! So..... time to take a step forward! :-)

Gidday mate! How ya goin? Thanks for connecting. I think I love Canada in the spring nearly as much as I love Australian autumns. I hope you are achieving what you set out to do. Go really well from Janelle
Reply

Thanks Janelle! The seasons in Canada are the biggest joy and the spring the excitement of new life and sunshine! I am achieving a little at a time. Slow but steady as I can between work and family. Thanks for your visit and encouragement!

Found you! Where did you move to and from?

I've moved to California and back to the UK so I understand the upheaval that comes with it and the settling in all over again. I also did it when my daughter was 2 months old! Thankfully she slept most the time on the plane.

We sound very similar and we will definitely have to have that virtual cup of tea and talk all about our crafts!

Lol! English breakfast? We moved from Australia to Canada as we'd been in Australia over 20 years but my husband is Canadian. Everything just seemed like the time was right to come... And, yes, the upheaval was huge!

Hi guys! Has anyone else taken up the 30 day Street Articles challenge! I'm on day five and really enjoying it. I'm finding the daily tasks easy to achieve and simple enough to really be learning from. Would love to follow you there too if you're serious about it and enjoy the support of others.

Hi Heather, Really enjoyed your article, Patchwork Memory Triggers! for some reason I could not get a post into comments over there. I think I static zapped my keyboard about that time. Sherry M

Keyboard seems to be fine. I am also new to the Internet Marketing and WA but I sure have learned a lot in the last 6 weeks! I love your articles. Everytime I get a notice that you have released a new one, I can't wait to go over and read it... Often about midnight :-) I am working on exploring when I am not so tired and building the habit of leaving a comment and a rating. Talk to you soon, Sherry M

Thanks Sherry. It's always nice to have positive feedback. That's for taking the time to find me here. I hope all is well at Street Articles. I'm so new at all this I wouldn't know where to start with trouble shooting ;-) All well with your keyboard now?!

Thank you so much Sherry! I've just joined the Street Articles 30 day challenge this week so it's keeping me hopping! I'm writing more with nowhere to link to yet!! That's why the delay checking in here too. I must get more regular and just can't fit everything in! Am I following you on Street Articles too? I'm in Australia so that's probably why my articles appear at weird times of the day. ;-) I'm making some nice contacts doing this and it really helps motivation.

Another thought here Sherry! I've had problems sometimes with leaving comments on Street Articles too now I'm thinking about it. It seems I have to log in a LOT even in the middle of what I would consider an active session. On these occasions I copy my comment, back out of the article, re-log in (I'm not sure how but by opening a new page in SA or something) and then return to the article and paste my comment. Hope this helps if you still have that problem. I actually posted to Kyle today asking why I have to log in so often and if it's normal. I also found I need to save a new article regularly. When I publish I have had a 502 error return on multiple times and it dumps the whole thing. Luckily I write in word and it's only cutting and pasting but it's annoying to have to redo photos, links, formatting etc etc again... and it ALWAYS happens at midnight. lol. I'm always saving drafts now as I work.

Oh interesting. I'm not exactly sure where Slacks Creek is (south side maybe?) but I'm up north at Deception Bay.

I've been on my desktop a fair bit today and noticed I'm not having a 're-logging in' problem. Hmmmm... that would narrow it down to my laptop for me! It was new in December so I'm wondering if it's a setting or a configuration or what?!

Not being technically computer literate has it's problems.

This is turning out to be a long 30 days for me but with everything else happening in my life and the challenges this is providing me I'm learning to be content with what I'm achieving. How's everyone else going?

Welcome to WA. There's lots of info on this site so don't let it blow your mind. Follow the 30 training offered here and also go to WAbinars and go to Affiliate Walk Through parts 1 & 2. There it will put it all together for you. I also suggest going to potpiegirls blog. She good. MUCH SUCCESS
