Header? Where?
Ok, so I admit that I had very limited exposure to the internet or online marketing before WA.
Most of that was by ordering products online from various companies. I had no experience building a website at all. I certainly didn't and still don't know the 'names' of various parts and components of a website.
When it comes to the 'lingo' that is associated with a website, I am generally lost. I don't understand a lot of what people talk about, so I ask. In this case I have been struggling trying to figure it out for myself. For others, it appears to be an 'easy' thing to do. For me, not so much.
So here I am asking my question. This has had me stymied and kept me from activating things that I need activated. Like my Google Analytics.
Where exactly is the 'header' and <head> located?? And, are these two different locations??
I have looked on my text view of my posts and can't see it anywhere. Am I looking in the wrong place?
Now, my next question is do I paste my ID there or my UA# or the code that is shown? Sometimes there are two that I feel I need to choose between. How do I know the right one?
Ok. So, there community. Can you help me?
I really need step by step instructions, not just more directions filled with lingo, please.
