In lesson 3/10 in Phase 1 of Affiliate Bootcamp Kyle mentions that copying and pasting from another site can cripple your site with google index, but then 60 seconds later advi
Again the same answer as when you asked a few minutes ago - no Go ahead and copy and paste
You set your privacy policy for no index so that Google does not index it. It is only there for people who visit your site
Thanks a million mykc724 :D I suppose this can be done with any page on my site I don't want indexed hypothetically?
Exactly, generally you would typically do it with your privacy policy, affiliate and earnings disclaimers, and website agreement. Anything of that nature.
It is really simple to do. When you are editing a post in wordpress, just scroll down underneath your text editor and you will see 4 clickable boxes.
Robots Meta NOINDEX
Robots Meta NOFOLLOW
Robots Meta NOODP
Robots Meta NODIR
Simply check all of those boxes and it will make it so that that particular post is not indexed but can still be placed on your website and viewed by your visitors.
Awesome, mykc724, you just made my day :D Let me know if you need a comment on your website or anything. I owe you one.
Should I also check off "Disable on This Post", which is right under what you mentioned above? Apparently it disabales SEO on this page? Again, I owe you some comments. Thanks!
No you don't need to worry about checking that box off, jut the four that I mentioned and you'll be good to go
