Can't get rid of that ringing in your ears

Do you have that annoying ringing in your ears, known as Tinnitus, that just doesn't want to go away? Sometimes it gets so loud you can't hear anyone speaking without asking them to repeat what they just said. I have and it can be quite irritating because it is embarrassing to have to keep asking what is being said. You get to the point where you just smile and nod and don't answer. Then they look at you like you have three heads. Oh no what did they just ask you? Now you just want to get up and excuse yourself and leave the room.
I have Tinnitus for years and the older I get the worst it gets. I have been to the doctor numerous times to get a prescription for the ringing, spent tons of money on pills that didn't work. I am at my wits end because of this insistent ringing. Some days it is louder than other days. My husband has gotten to the point that he says "no wonder old people quit talking to each other" when I ask him to repeat what he just said.
I have tried numerous over the counter remedies that don't work either. Then I started to get into essential oils, and studying the miraculous benefits that they provide. I came across this recipe for Tinnitus and thought I would give it a try. I will let you know what my results are, but in the mean time here is the recipe.
Essential Oil recipe for Tinnitus
3 drops Cypress essential oil
3 drops Juniper Berry essential oil
1 drop Helichrysum essential oil
10 ml of a carrier oil for 5% dilution
Apply behind the ear and down the jawline
Have a wonderful day!

I don't have the ringing, but I have the high pitched radio static that I hear all the time. Sometimes it is faint, and other times it is really loud. So, thanks for this.
Hi Camber, I would be interested in finding out the result as I am also a suffer of tinnitus for many years. Irv.
