My Struggle with Word Count.

I am a concise writer, and it's a struggle for me to get close to 1,000 words in a blog post for my website. I just finished writing one of my longer posts and it was 831 words... that's an improvement, but still not 1,000.

I've always been a concise writer. Once I'm done getting my point across, I'm done writing. I can add in some cute phrases or adjectives or in the case of product reviews, descriptive terms or ingredients, but...it's just hard for me to keep writing. I feel like I'm rambling, and I've said all I need to say.

I'm slightly worried that the reason I'm not getting much traffic/ranked yet is that my posts are too short. All of them are between 500 and 850 words, but then again my site is only 7 weeks old (I have 12 posts currently and all but 3 have been indexed.)

That's all for me today - you knew this would be a short post, right? ;)
