Quitting Is Not An Option

A few years ago (quite a few, actually) Billy Graham's wife was being interviewed on a well-known news program by a well-known journalist (I'm not trying to be coy, I just don't remember). It was her and Billy's 40th wedding anniversary. This well-known journalist, whose name escapes me at the time, asked her if she had ever thought about divorcing Billy in those 40 years. She pondered the question for a minute and then leaned toward him, narrowed her focus, and said: "No, but I have thought about killing him a couple of times."

On another well-known news program, a well-known journalist (it could have been the same one, I don't know) complemented an old gentleman on being in love with the same woman for 60 years. "Are you kidding?" he laughed. "I have not been in love with her for 60 years! It's just that when I fall out of love, I stick around until I fall back in love again."

In both cases, divorce was off the table. Quitting was not an option. They were committed to the marriage come hell or high water. Or, if you will, " 'till death do them part." It is important that I bring this same commitment to the success of my business here at WA. The funny thing about quitting is that if it is on the table, it's not a matter of "if" you will quit, but a matter of "when" you will quit. There will always be reasons to give up: It's been six months and I haven't made a dime; Google Analytics haven't shown a visitor to my site since I had it; I don't know what else to write; this is starting to take too much of my time; insert your own reason here_______________.

Things can get a little tough sometimes, but I have a "great cloud of witnesses" around me that encourages me to continue to "press on toward the mark." Thanks to the knowledgeable community here at WA that is ready to help at the drop of a hat, I don't have to hack my way through the jungle. They have paved a road to success and staffed it with guides to assist me at every turn. Their help has been, and will continue to be, one of the most valuable assets of the program.

So, there's no reason for me to quit. I have but to reach out and someone will extend a hand to help me get over any hump. I did not come to WA expecting to get-rich-quick. I came expecting to be a successful affiliate marketer, regardless of how long it takes. I read somewhere that winners are people who never give up on their dreams. Well, my dreams go far beyond WA, but this is the vehicle that will afford me the freedom to realize those dreams. Quit? Me? I don't think so. In fact it will never happen because it is not an option. I started out here to achieve the personal and financial freedom necessary to minister to a segment of the population that is too often overlooked: seniors with addiction issues. I can't afford to quit.
