Number of plugins
Good morning!
I am looking for insight on the maximum number of plugins to use on my website. I see under my website health on WA that it says 5 should be the max. That just seems kind of low. I understand that too many will slow my site down. I have 8 active right now with intention of looking into more (not many, but some).
Any insight regarding the number of plugins to use would be amazing!

Hi Caitlin, I have ten right now and on some days it works super fast and others like this morning my mobile is a little slow but I am not sure if this is because of the plugins since others have had slow mobile speed too with less plugins, so I think you will be fine.

Hi, I would just go over to somewhere like Google PageSpeed and see how your site is performing.
If the results are good you have nothing to worry about.
If they aren't so good then Google will give you suggestions on how to improve your site speed which may not include reducing plugins.

Wordpress: Using and Managing Plugins Not sure if this will help you or not, but I wanted to let you check it out. Your pup is so cute. On a different note, have you thought about adding any keto recipes to your site? Hope so, both my wife and I are doing the keto diet.

Wow! That video was perfect. I watched it immediately and feel like I walked away with a lot of information. This answered my question plus some so thank you very much :) I did not know about activating XML Sitemap on my All in One SEO! That information alone is gold to me. I took away some names of potentially useful plugins as well. Turns out 5 is probably just an optimal number. But the max is 10-12. I don't imagine I would have gotten so wild as to install plugin numbers in the teens though. Either way, I got my answer.
As for keto recipes, it had not crossed my mind solely because I have never embarked on the keto journey. That being said, I am up for a challenge! Give me some time to look into some stuff and I will post a keto recipe soon.

Hello Caitlyn,
it's fine to have 8 plugins on your website as far as they won't slow it down.
I would activate them one by one and check the speed of your website on the Website Details page.
