I'll be honest. This is the second time around for me trying Wealthy Affiliate. The first time I just couldn't seem to get over the hump, so I decided to give it a rest and save my money. Then, all of a sudden, when I was drawn back to it, it was free. I'd said to myself when I stopped after the initial go round that if it was free, I'd try it again. CHALLENGE!! So, I swore off of Facebook for the New Year, not really a resolution if you will, just a need to become more focused on building something for myself and not wasting my time online watching the "feed" of other people enjoying their lives. I decided my new social network would be Wealthy Affiliate. Here we are though, three months into 2013 and this is the first blog post, and only one of maybe a few interactions I've had in such time. But 15 days ago I was inspired.
Fifteen days ago my best friend from childhood passed away. We met when we were 7 years old and had dreams of being famous together, and, at her celebration of life service (also known as a funeral) I realized that in the 34 years she had on this earth, to the people around her, she had become infamous. She was diagnosed with Lupus when we were 15 years old, and but for the every now and then mention of arthritic pain, I never heard her complain. Nope! She did what she felt she was put on this earth to do until she was taken away. And at her service I realized all the challenges I face while on this journey to fulfill what I see as my destiny, nothing should stand in my way. I don't have to give myself dialysis three times a day every single day, no matter what I'm doing or where I am. I can use my situations and circumstances as an excuse, but...why should I take the liberty. Why not take advantage of my being healthy and able.
I remember the first time we thought she might be gone, back in 2003/04 when she was in a coma in ICU. She came out swinging with her life. Nothing was going to stop her from fulfilling what she was to do on this earth but death. And so, in her passing, I have been inspired by the torch that she carried, to take up my own torch and do my work, no matter what. Even if it seems crazy to others. Someone once told me when people think you're crazy it means you're doing something right. So I'm doing what's right for me. See, this is beyond money, becoming rich off the internet. This is about the courage to create the life I want.
I've been reading You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay throughout this process, and more than any time ever, I am inspired and motivated to live out my fullest potential. So, this is my start. The journey. And where it leads I know is up to me. And so, Wealthy Affiliate, I accept the challenge!

Thanks for sharing. It is hard to lose someone that has been part of our life. If you need some help or anything I can do to help I will give it my best.

Best Wishes to You!

Thank you for reading my post Sherion. Yes, it is hard and often times we don't really realize how much our lives are intertwined until that person is gone. Best wishes to you and don't be upset if I hold you to your offer. ;)

Just let me know. I will try my best like I said. If I don't know the answer will sure help you find it out because then I would need to know it too!

Also, my mom lived till she was 95 years old. The last 5 years of her life I took care of her in her home. I don't know how I did it now because God only gave me the strength. I know now that she is in a better place and dancing with the angels as my family says. She loved dancing and although immobile the last 5 years of her life she always wanted to walk and dance again. Whenever my heart hurts I just close my eyes and imagine her dancing in heaven with the angels. It helps my heart.

Still praying for you and your family and if you ever even need to talk you just let me know.

Love never dies, love endures all things.

Mary aka Sherion

Can you earn money by just giving reviews to the product?

Basically - Can you earn money when you have a visitor just visiting and roaming around in your site?

I'm not sure that it's just giving reviews of the product. What I've interpreted is its giving reviews and then linking people to purchase the product. So, like you have a visitor who appreciates the information you've provided and then there on your site is a link, because you are an affiliate with the particular item you reviewed and you earn commissions that way.

Thank you so much for sharing this means alot.

Thank you for reading it as it was something I needed to release to, in my own way, honor what losing my friend has meant to me.

Very good book "You Can Heal Your Life", it got me through a lot of bumpy times. All of Louise Hays writings are good. She overcame a lot in her life and writes from experience. Best of Luck in your journey, YOU CAN DO IT! =)

Thanks Magoo! I am finding Louise Hay to be very interesting. I started with the movie on Youtube and it made me want to read the book. So here I am, on a journey to not just heal, but develop as well. Best wishes to you and hope to see you along the road here at WA!

Very inspriational! Not the same reasons for me being here but the same outcome. It's not just about money, it's a whole new journey for me! Good luck and maybe we can pick each others brain as this is all very new for me too!

Thanks for reading my post. Would LOVE to share thoughts. Two brains are better than one. It could most definitely help us get over the humps that stump us sometimes. Makes it feel like, well, a community. Hope to be talking to you soon!!

Welcome back, should you find you need additional motivation or it wanes a bit. Please let me know and I'll help you get back on track.

Well thank you for that offer Labman. Motivation can be difficult to maintain as we move daily through our busy lives, so don't get mad if I hold you to it. ;)

Thanks for sharing that! I have very different motivation for being here, nothing as dramatic and inspiring, but the goal maybe is the same: live a life of purpose, and stay on track to continually discover, refine, and fulfill that purpose. Best of luck to you :)

Thank you for reading my post and making me not feel like I'm the only one who wants to get something other than just dollars out of this experience. Nice to know that there really are others seeking something deeper for their lives just like me. :) I wish you the best as well.
