Movin to the Sand Box

Last Update: March 21, 2013
Just as the title of this blog may suggest, we are moving to the sandbox. You might ask, just what does that mean? We are moving to Abu Dhabi which is the capital of the United Arab Emirates. You see my wife is a teacher and she teaches Fifth Grade here in the United States. Recently there has been a move to decrease the salaries of teachers based on an education reform through out the country.I mean ti makes perfect sense, you pay teachers less and they teach better right? (sarcasm) Our state of Idaho has one of the lowest pay schedules for teachers in the country. That combined with the recent decline in work for my trade forced us to start looking for some alternatives to our situation. I of course am pursuing the online business route with the WA Boot Camp and my wife looked into the possibility of teaching overseas where they pay teachers better. Lo and behold she found out about the Abu Dhabi Education Council. And that they were hiring teachers that have families. And she recently got the confirmation letter for a teaching job this August. I will be homeschooling my two boys ages 15 and 11. And I will be doing my Internet marketing business from the comfort of my own home in Abu Dhabi. Crazy isn't it? Careful what you wish for it might just come true. We are so excited for this new adventure. It's just like starting over.
We will liquidate everything here, house, cars, many personal items, with perhaps a few sentimentals kept in storage. The kids and I are going over in November or December. I will always be on WA. So I will share
me experiences with you all as they unfold.
Till next blog

How exciting. One of the great things about IM is its portability. All the best.
