Well, it is a New Year, and time for a New Blog. Happy New Years everybody!!!! As I seem to do one of these a year, based on the amount of years I have been with WAU, and it seems to be around this time of year that I do it. Why is that? Oh, I know, the desire to make a change in my life. So here I am again, and I need some help. This has proven to be one of the greatest challenges in my life, making a commitment to do what it would take to really make a change in my old regimen. So here is a

Since my last post I have had a lot of new followers, yet I haven't delivered on my commitment mentioned in that post. Rather than beat myself up over it, I have got to turn up the heat and move my project up the the front burner, give it a stir, see what it needs. I keep getting called away from the kitchen and what I need to do is prioritize. Probably the hardest thing to do when it comes to actually doing something new. Easy to slide back into the familiar activates to fill your day. Remembe

How many times must I promise myself that I am going to commit to something and it ends up just another episode of, Oh I'll just put this on the back burner for a while and come back to it, and never do? Granted, these were times when I'm had plenty of irons in the fire and they all needed attention. But I never in the past saw this day coming..... Yes a day when I didn't have all of the other things to do. So I say to myself, Self? It's Now or Never...There is really nothing better for me to be

Here we are, now living in the UAE. For those who don't know, UAE stands for United Arab Emirates. My wife has a job teaching in the Emirati school system. I home school my two boys as she teaches and I will be doing WAU durring and after teaching hours 5 days a week. Plan to put in 15 hours per week this way. Should work out nicely. If you have read my last post you would understand why I took a hiatus from WAU. Now with our house rented in Idaho and all of our worldly possessions sold, we s

In a previous blog post I told of my up and coming adventure with moving to Abu Dhabi in the UAE.I go over with my kids this September just behind Wife by one month. With so much to do between now and then I am forced to put my WA business building on the back burners. We have to fix up our house to sell or rent, sell almost all of our possessions and hang up a 23 year floor-covering business all by mid August. The up side to this is, my new job in the UAE is as a home school teacher to my two bo

Yes, This blog is inspired by Daniel Euergete's blog. I feel a kinship to Daniel cause we both came in to WA on the same month. I am Adult ADD , and cause of it I struggle with focus on the tasks. The frustration I experience fuels my procrastination. I am a tradesman in the construction industry, and my focus there is fine, cause it is linear thinking. I install flooring . I start the job and finish it, going through the process that I have learned so well, which sometimes can takes days to

Just as the title of this blog may suggest, we are moving to the sandbox. You might ask, just what does that mean? We are moving to Abu Dhabi which is the capital of the United Arab Emirates. You see my wife is a teacher and she teaches Fifth Grade here in the United States. Recently there has been a move to decrease the salaries of teachers based on an education reform through out the country.I mean ti makes perfect sense, you pay teachers less and they teach better right? (sarcasm) Our state

Yeah and that's just what I need. I'm still having trouble realizing my first successes with Wealthy Affiliate. So when I saw that Kyle is launching a Boot Camp for promoting Wealthy Affiliate. I'm saying to myself " it's now or never". I'm having images of Kyle in my face yelling " are you ready for this soldier".That's what I need. but I'm sure he's going to be just as nice as he is in his blogs and videos explaining everything clearly and asking you to act on

One of my biggest challenges with starting a business on the Internet has been and still is, keeping myself focused and motivated with the activities necessary to build such a business. I have learned a lot in the past two years about Internet marketing but most of what I've learned is about myself. My propensity for procrastination. I have been told that in the process of goal setting you need to write it down on paper and if you don't, the likelihood of achieving that goal is nil. Now

Hello, fellow WAU's . This is my first blog on WA, inspired by the Open Education Project. Ya know since Kyle and Carson's brainchild launched and all of these new people came in for their free 10 day trial, my ranking number went way up, which means down in WA status. Of course.. This alone is inspiration enough to get me moving and involved with this community just to bring my ranking numbers back down. This really shows how many new people this incentive program is bringing in
