Putting All Our Eggs In One Basket
Hi WA Friends:
I am really enjoying being a member here at WA. There are so many resources and I love beinging able to have multiple websites. I know this may seem like a strange question, but does anyone ever worry about having all this stuff built up in one place. I am planning on writing several blogs and I keep getting this nagging thought
What if something happens and Carson and Kyle have to close shop? What will happen to all our websites? That know that may seem like a strange question but I keep going back to the old saying:
Don't put all your eggs in one basket?
Does anyone have any thoughts on this. I love it here so much and think about the effect it would have on my business if WA wasn't around for some reason.

I am sure Kyle and Carson have everything well covered. If the worst did happen you would have to move your websites elsewhere.

I have wondered the same thing. I am not a technical expert, but more likely we would have to move our websites to different hosting platforms. It is a simple transfer process. And since it is all built through WordPress, the site will still be intact. The good news is there are many different options to chose from.
I would miss WA if it ever closed shop and it has been around so long that I can not imagine that happening anytime soon. But it could.

As a business owner, I don’t want my business dependent on me. I create systems and values and put people in place that are good at maintaining those things...
I’ve heard the support team here is great (haven’t submitted a ticket myself yet) but those folks are in place and working to make this platform what it is... not dependent on the visionaries.

But I think they would take care of us like family... because think about it... their family depends on it too!!
