 Today I pulled the tank heaters out of the watering troughs daring winter to snarl back out of the high north country and freeze everything into a solid mass of ice. Foolish. I know. Human nature bids me do the things I do and the horses, goats, chickens, dogs, cats and all the creatures who have found a home here will neigh, honk, bark, moo, squeek, and meow in delight as I man a concrete chipper to break the ice that is sure to arrive in the night so they are provided the five star watering hole they are used to.

Whats this got to do with marketing? Not much. Thats the point. I haven't been doing much marketing, writing, backlinking or head scratching for quite a spell. I'm a true believer, make no mistake, but laziness, apathy and procrastination infect every aspect of my life. A born ship jumper with a ready supply of wanderlust, I make a good worker but a lousy manager. The hint of gold dust everywhere makes me giddy and productive but not reliable.

Today I made another sale. Out of the blue, cold sky onto my laptop. Worlds collide: Or do they? I love the animals in my small world. Relish the stark blue skys and icy crackle of the Snake river as it wanders through the lava palisades that line the canyon from the high mountains and descends eventually to the desert floor. Maybe marketing suits me after all, I know it does today. What other business works for you while you play? Dare to dream.
